So here I am, on 1.8.2, inside a closed off villager home, with no sight but the mobs outise the window panes.
Then, suddenly, my hearts go down. I look around, and there are no hostile mobs inside the house, just a skeleton right outside the window pane.
Then it happens again. Except this time, I knew where it came from. The skeleton had drew back his bow and fired on me.
So naturally, I try to fire back. I can't strike him, but my arrows damage him for a couple minutes, and then it stops. Then, I back away, so my crossair isn't choosing the panes anymore, and it works again.
This is a semi-bad glitch, because it makes us more vulurnable to threats outside.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so, make sure to let me know, so we can notify 4J.
It is a glitch, but I believe it is still in current PC version. I'm thinking they left it in, since that glitch is the foundation of wireless redstone. Glass panes only have a full hitbox when looked at, touched, or fired upon. Other panes with the same orientation will also gain full hitboxes when you affect one of them. This makes it possible to send wireless redstone signals across multiple channels, I believe there are 8 possible, but don't quote me.
