Like everyone else, I've been generating a lot of new worlds with the new 1.8 terrain generation to find something I like. The extreme hills biome seems to be pretty rare in most of the worlds I've generated but I found one that felt a lot like the 'Glacier' seed from pre-1.8. I took a flight around and found all the biomes were there, except for a large ocean but thats just wasted space anyways. There were some overhangs, waterfalls, surface lava and even a very visible dungeon in one of the deserts. The one weird thing is that there is only one village on the map and it is cut off by the world edge (see last picture).
The seed is 'Sierra Nevada' (don't forget to capitalize)
