Here's the deal.
I was playing like normal the day the update came on a new world and...
I came back the next day and it was fine.
I played for like 30 min and joined a friends game and my xbox froze after leaving my lobby.
Litterly 1 second after.
It froze on a Chest (AutoSave)
I saved my world before I left and then quit without saving.
I suppose that didn't do anything.
I launch xbox again joined my friend and half way thru connecting to host my xbox freezes.
I launch again and then I play fine for like 20 seconds.
then my xbox freezes again!
Any solutions?

clear cache,reformat it? worst case scenario it might be your xbox about to die? it happen to me on other system (ps3) one week after it got ylod

Clearing a cache wouldn't help. It's a well known glitch that playing old worlds on multiplayer will freeze the xbox. The best thing to do is to play on single player.

It also happens to me too it needs to be patched in the bug fix or a another update

I play on old worlds in MP and they work just fine. The only time my xbox has frozen yet from 1.8 is right after I downloaded it and shot an arrow. O.o

i have the same problem when joining a friends world... sucks.

It isnt a old world.

I have a world that I have been playing on since the initial release of Minecraft Xbox. When my mate came over we played split-screen for most of the night with no problems (This was just yesterday so it was the latest Xbox update, 1.8.2 or whatever). However, when we went to play it earlier, whenever I launched the game with all the online settings enabled, it would freeze about three seconds after the loading screen does its thing (so I was actually IN the world). So following usual routine for most errors with my Xbox, I restarted my console about 4 times. This was when I realized something else was wrong. I started tweaking with the settings and disabled online game I then loaded the world and it's fine. Same stuff, inventory and no change whatsoever. I don't know why this is but it seems multi-player might be the root of the issue. This may just be my world but that's all I've got for now. Hope this helps someone

It could be the fact that you're playing online and the world has too many signs. Thats what 4JStu said at least ;3
