So now that 1.8.2 is out on Xbox, what mode do you get the most satisfaction out of? Personally, I haven't spent enough time with the patch to really form an opinion, but I'm eager to hear your guys'.

He's a slacker jack and he's okay, he games all night and he sleeps all day.
Me too. Creative is fun & all but nothing beats the feeling of getting diamonds with friends & doing some role play. I play creative when I'm trying to find a good seed or just bored.
Survival because creative doesn't even funtion in the slightest for several players including me.
Assuming they're both fully functional, I tend to get more satisfaction out of survial, but using creative to accomplish tedious tasks is quite satisfactory as well.
Survival. I feel more honorable when I get everything in Survival. Don't get me wrong, Creative is great too. For getting things if you don't have the time or if you want to create something huge. But I feel better if I get stuff in Survival.
I like survival more than creative, but in my opinion, survival is more rewarding.... killing endermens, collect iron, diamond, lapis, coal, etc.....is more rewarding than just building.
Survival. I kinda think that creative can ruin the MC experience. Think of it this way. . . you're in survival, struggle to find something (read my ore thread), so switch to creative to get what you need. Kinda feels like cheating to me.
i go creative. i'm a builder. mining is so boring to me, the enemies are worth while but if i have to mine, screw it. i've given this game 100+ hours of holding the right trigger button, i think i've earned the right not to. I also just like to build massive structures that I've never seen before and there isn't enough of some materials in an entire map to use, like lapis, gold, or iron. Nothing wrong with survival and I understand the love for it. It's just that most of the time it's not for me. if we could get unlimited building materials and the ability to fly while still being able to die in survival mode, I'd probably play that.
Me and about 5 friends have a Super Flat world for Creative that we just build onto everyday all away from each others creations so we have space to build.
I also play on a Survival world that me and 2 other friends play on. I love that helplessness feeling when you dont have food and when it starts going dark and you start sprinting to your house, trying to avoid everything in your way.
I enjoy playing survival with others and on my own. My own survival world is getting there, creative helped get me started more so then just punching damn wood.
I have not messed with creative too much as I have no ideas but the plethora of materials is overwhelming. I just stare at the item menu thinking what the hell can I do with all of this stuff.
I prefer survival, usually on peaceful for building and such, but when i want to explore that is when the monsters will be turned back on.
I do like creative but like someone else mentioned it is kind no fun after a while. I mean i like to creative, but i like working with the land, which means using the land as well to make what i want. Makes things flow a bit more smoothly for me. If i wanted something similar to creative then host options can be checked so i can at least fly around...:D doing some of the more complex builds a bit quicker.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Why do people have to compare everything!
Survival and creative are completely different from each other.
When mojang added creative mode (4j in this case), they weren't thinking "hey lets try and make a game mode that players may want to play more than survival"
They added it because it complements the game and brings out a different playstyle focused solely on creativity instead of creativity based on assisting in survival.

I used to be an arrow like you, but then i took a knee to the head.
I like them both. Survial when I want to have a game experience and creative when I am... well... feeling creative. I do like using creative to find seeds since I can make a world and fly around in it to see what it looks like. Also I think it would be neat if there were some achievements for creative mode. Maybe something for building an object using a certian number of items or completing so many hours in creavtive mode.
That isnt to say that Creative is bad. I just get bored when alls I have to do is pick what items I want x3
