lol damn. this morning while I was building my first home on a new map (for 1.8.2) I open my door and take an immediate left and I bump right into a creeper...
could be worse.... started the new tutorial world did the tut. made the way to the village into a home, well putting double doors to either end and waited out the night. nothing but creepers spawned so more or less i had to deal with 10 creepers that ended in failure that happen to spawn on the roof. I restarted the tut in peaceful so i would have a better look at the world.
Nothing like saying "Welcome to Minecraft" then a the horde of creepers exploding in your face after the tutorial...><
I have to say it seems like they spawn more than zombies and skeletons...O_O Anyway one of these days i will prolly go back to survival again eventually and attempt easy again, although right now there is hardly a difference between that and normal for me... Just would be nice if easy was "easy" lol

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Man, first day of the update, I had that, but with an Enderman. Problem was, I had started a new world, and so had no windows.
He got a little bit mad.
Yeah, first morning in my new 1.8 map, and when I came out the door in the morning a creeper crept up behind me and BOOM! I had to respawn.Never saw the $*!#%& before I died. But yeah, them looking in the window when I wake is, well, creepy
That said, right after I posted this, while sitting on a mob spawner trying to figure out how to light it without dying, I got too close to to a creeper and it took out the cage for me
If you hate creepers in front of your house
You've gotta hate morning creepers...
What I mean by that is the left over creepers from last night that didn't get burned up like the
zombies and skeletons...that's why there's so many creepers in the morning time.
You'll be mining your own business then boom! blown up!
You better hope you've got armor on...i never do xD

Retired StaffI don't think a creeper is technically an animal.
The species of creepers is unknown. Would they be classified as bugs since they were born from bugs????
