Ok, firstly I'd like to say that I like the update. It added great content and good mechanics. but also I HATE IT WITH A FURIOUS PASSION! I go to rename one of the new maps I generated and it DELETES MY MAIN WORLD! I didn't say my chests were a darker shade of brown or my grass is a different color...I said my world is GONE and I don't know why! I hate to be just another Rager but surely everyone can understand that the loss of a main garners that reaction.

Sorry to hear. But like I said in another thread... Cloud storage.

I still cant believe ppl are defending a patch were the rename button deletes your world instead. I just want to know how we get the word out to save more innocent people from heartbreak. I feel your pain OP my main world was also deleted by the rename button

I feel so sorry for you man. I was going to rename my world too but I didn't really care because I didn't know what to name it. Thank god for that.

I hope you find a way to get your world back. And why are you guys defending this? He lost his main world. This isn't his fault. He shouldn't even have to make a cloud storage just to rename a world.

I agree with you. This update has to be some sort of cruel, sick joke.

seriously what is the point .. no-one else can see the name only you.. and it's what you have one your world that counts and not the name.

tough luck mate and also get a memory stick or something or as above said cloud to back up your saves.

I agree, why would you need to rename your world. Unless your a goldfish, you can probably remember which world is which. Sorry for your loss though, I sure would hate to lose my world.

I also dont know how people can defend an update like this. Especially when people crash too often even play and people are like "be happy they gave you anything!" because the patch took the whole game away if its unplayable.

Thank you so much, you just saved me. I decided that the next time I got on Minecraft, I was gonna change my world name. Just in time, I was about to get up and go play. Yet again, thank you so much.

My world was made into a hideous nightmare where, also too, my underground city is an awful blob of blackness and dust despite there being numerous amounts of lights.

AGAIN this ­ing problem i told u people try not to renamed your world Yet but nope the MOD MADE ME GO TO THE bug thread as if most people look at that had that thread that i made stayed maybe people would not have this problem anyways im sure that mod will say this thread is redundant blablabla locking this deleting go to the bug thread
