First thing it showed "Seed: Temple." Okay, start up the game, create a new world, put "Temple" in the seed to generate box, failed.
All it did was load a big map with tons of water and a couple islands but nothing like that map showed.

OP: Your problem is that's an Anvil generation seed, which only works after 1.3. Try looking through the Beta 1.8 seeds:
