In the trailer for the 360 update I saw chickens and pigs all fenced up, so I assumed that you could breed them. So I tried to get a pig to follow me with some wheat, but it just wouldn't come.
they won't respawn either apparently, so whatever you do don't kill sheep. box them up to protect them from wolves.
they do spawn, but theres a limited number of animals in the world. my problem is that I had WAY to many sheep, because I would kill the pigs, chickens and cows for their meat, and leave the sheep alone. couldnt find any cows to box in for milk, so I killed about a dozen sheep, was wandering around, and boom, 4 spawn in front of me (got all 4 caged in, but only 1 moved to my house so far. its a long process.)
but has anyone had a problem with sheep not regrowing their wool? I've had this sheep from pretty much day 3, its like day 20 or so, and its still naked as a mole rat.
and a word of advise? since they dont despawn, they stay there, and prevent others from spawning in. in short, you see an animal, you dont want it permently for milk or eggs, kill it.
