*Killing zombie* Drops rotten flesh
"Awesome! I forgot about this addition!"
Turn around eating bread
I see an enderman floating about 10 blocks away...
" Dang you!"
*One ender pearl later*
"How the hell does this work?"
This is my encounter:
Me: Decides to go on a night walk, sprints around happily, avoids getting hit by any hostile mob. sees enderman and decides to take a look. Puts on armor and decides to get in a fight with it. almost dies and then throws bucket of water at own feet. Laughs as enderman dies in 1 damage.
I now have a trophy in 1 of my chests with an enderpearl in it. I treasure it.
Ah yes...The s xD Well had my first encounter on MC360 last night, Spotted my first village and was walking up to their farm when i randomly started taking damage. "WTF -looks around- ..meh must have been a glitch.. -starts walking again and enderman pops up in front of me- AHHHHH KILL IT WITH FIRE!!" ...I did not have a flint so i defended myself with a wooden hoe.

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" -The Mad Hatter
Since I have a pumpkin for a head they cant see me looking at them so they don't attack. Instantly put a pumpkin on when the update came out. I am now co-existing with them and defending them from other mobs. Soon I will become one of them.

What do you say to the god of thunder? **** you thunder *** *** **** ** ****- Ted Go see it
I had my first encounter in a lit cave. Turned the corner to see it standing there holding a block. Walked up to it while staring at its legs, then walked around it to go on may way. I don't see them being a problem. Soon I'll find a pumpkin and then we will see eye to eye.

The reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
My first enderman encounter was on a multiplayer map with 3 others. It was our fist night in a new world. We fought them in a village for a full night since we hadn't been able to find enough sheep to make enough beds for us all to sleep in. We used one of those houses with a fenced in back yard, which was generated on a hillside as our base. They'd aggro and run up to the raised fence leaving their heads right in range of our stone swords.
At first it was just one lone mob who'd get hit and teleport, then pop back up on the other side of the house. Soon it was like he called in the cavalry! I think we fought 6 of them that night. In the end, only one of us died and only one pearl dropped.
Still it made for a very memorable first encounter!
I love endermen! I've waited for a long time for them to finally come to the Xbox edition.
My first encounter with one happened when my friend was being chased by one. I was shooting at it with arrows and it would teleport almost every time the arrows would come in contract with it. Quite fun, actually. My friend was pretty startled, might I add. Hehe!
I'd say after my first night being in a cave, and hearing one whizzing by every so often, I gotten use to them. Though I do be careful when coming in "direct eye contact" with one...
Lol, now this weekend I'm waiting to see what my cousin's reaction will be when he joins my server and sees one for the first time.
I walked right up to it looking straight at the ground and proceeded to bump into it. It didn't like that so it decided to attack me. I called out to my partner and we slayed the abomination and went on to celebratory tea-bagging.
My first one on survival I spent a few moments looking him in the face.. He really did nothing. Like legit, he didn't even attack me. Then I looked him in the eye and came running at me with little to no signs. I realized that on the xbox they don't drop their jaws before they attack. Which I am not a big fan of.
I actually found two in my house right after I downloaded the update. My wolf sat on the floor staring at them and I kinda froze like "what do?" But they teleported away before I could do anything.
Weirdly, I've encountered quite a few and none of them have tried to attack me, even at night. They just teleport away when I look at them. So I'm mostly just leaving them alone since Ender Pearls are useless for now. They're cool until they start taking your blocks.
I saw that one of my blocks were missing from the corner of my house, turned around and saw something holding it, looked up and preceded to get the crud beat out of me. Not too great of an encounter.
for me, i was excited when i saw one and immediately thought....."HUNT" but when i finally killed it, the noise it made freaked me out...volume up to much... T_T
Well i know what that thing is... That is kinda creepy, Smack... Poof. Ware did that mr. Ender Go Enderman noise. Owch owch owch turn around HOLY SH** , AWWWWWW.... TEAM LEADER14 Has Fallen.
