As you all know the Adventure Update came out today! I wanted to ask you all these questions:
1.Whats your favorite part of the update?
Mine is well everything! ravines, strongholds, and ravines?!?! what would we do without you? I also love enderman, and i think cave spiders are cute(when they are not killing me!)
2.Whats your least favorite part of the update?
Nothing, The only issue i see is when a spy chicken pushes me into a ravine
3. What feature are you lokking foward to in the future?
Enchantments, I want to run around killing monsters with a Flaming Sword!
The main things I like in this update are the mineshafts and all the new blocks... If i ever find a stronghold I might actually like that too, but I am not too fond of ravines due to the fact I always run into more than 2 at once all merged underground... I don't like it when they do that...Oh well what can you do... I'll just go back to enjoying all the new blocks...
Just wish spiderwebs were makable...:D
and pumkins as a crop. as well sandstone stairs...
The one thing i don't like is the fact of the despawn thing... well if we don't really have regrowable wool and no breeding, it just all seems pointless beyond the chicken coop...oooo that's an idea... make a chicken coop using the new iron bars...:D

1. As seen from my other topic, my biggest plus is creative mode with the supeflat option WITH the option to switch from creative to survival on the fly. WOW. So much potential! This ties in with the new options for hosts that allow you to choose who mines on your world. This will lead to various new creative maps where mining is impossible. Platforming, puzzles and RPGish maps, anyone? Possibilities...
2. Not sure yet. Too into all the new goodies.:D
3. Breeding. And, a way to easily share maps through xblive.
My Minecraft spark has officially been reignited!
I love the Xbox minecraft and this update is superb, yer there's a few bugs in it, so what they'll be fixed ( dedicated for the moaners out there ) what I like in this update the fact you can swap from creative to survival and vice versa, That is superb, love it. In survival I do have a problem is in the lack of spawning animals, but after some time playing I think this was a bonus on that particular map because it was a tuff challenge to stay alive, it felt like the first time I played minecraft all over again. I think a good option would be to turn off spawning animals or to make them rare. Really like the ravines they look so much better on the Xbox than the PC, probably due to the 52 HD tv. Endermen great addition and looking good still nerve racking when they go for you. Not encountered the silver fish yet, only in my mates bathroom but they've always been there and there not as big in real life thank god!!!! :-). Could say more but wanna get gone and play it. Well done 4J cracking job keep up the great work, looking forward future updates especially the jungle biome
I highly agree with you everything looks so much better due to HD Tv's. I also like the new terrain, tall moutains villages, whats next?
I really love the new update, it's simpy amazing. Yet there are two things I dislike quite a lot.
First of all, animals are ridiculously rare now. Getting ahold of three lousy wool for a bed during the first day has become quite tricky, even if you manage to find some iron ore and craft sheers. I've been running around on several worlds all day and didn't find a single sheep. Also, lack of animals means that the worlds now appear empty, liveless, and rather boring.
The other thing is that the new swamp biome is the predominant biome on all my new worlds. I've started a dozen new worlds since the update, and gone are the lush forests and large grasslands. It's mostly swamps now, many and large deserts, and only occasionally rather small patches of forests, grasslands, mountains, and tundras.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.
I'm having a ripping good time. Laced with depression, but laughing none the less. Can't wait for the other stuff to come. That will be even more fun.
I always get a good chuckle from someone shooting themselves in the foot. You see it coming, but no amount of yelling is going to stop them from pulling that trigger. Hell, often it freaks them out and they shoot themselves because you startled them.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain.
You see, I don't actually play Minecraft on the Xbox. In fact, I don't even have an Xbox. I'm just here to see what I knew would happen. Call me a time-traveler, but I know what comes next. And the fact you guys don't is so delicious - albeit bitter after awhile.
And, whoo-boy, I'm also very sad. Sad, not because I dislike the features, oh no I've come to tolerate them. I'm sad because all of this is just beginning for you guys. I feel like an old ex-smoker who looks at a crowd of young kids starting to suck on their first cigarettes. It's so popular, so cool, it wakens you up, makes you feel good... All the while all I can do is shake my head at what I know will come next because I've been there.
I'll admit it - I was ignorant once. Ignorance isn't a bad thing, it is a part of life. There are just some things you don't know. Things that seem good at first, but later loose their luster, revealing their true form for all but the lucky few who have managed to avoid disappointment. I envy this ignorance. I envy all of you who yet to realize the true nature of this update. But time will pass, and you will see what I do now... This isn't an opinion, as it has already happened - this is history playing itself out once again before my eyes, and I am hopeless to stop it.
So... Go ahead, call me a crazy, rambling, belittling mad-man who doesn't know what he's talking about. Say it is only opinion; that the circumstances are different.
Because none of that matters. This isn't anything other than history playing itself out again - quite literally, might I add.
Just consider me a time-traveler passing through, offering advice and warning to those who ought to be cautious in judging so soon. Pretty soon those words of praise will turn bitter as they did for me. And once that happens, if you still wish to talk, I'll be here.
1.Whats your favorite part of the update?
All the new blocks, mineshafts, maybe the stronghold if/when I can find one.
2.Whats your least favorite part of the update?
the fact they did 9/10 hunger over the 8/10 hunger before health regenerates. I would say ravines, but they have their place. That and well the only part about ravines i don't like are when they end up tripple or double stacked.... i don't want grand canyon underground...><
As far as feature goes I see no point in superflat, as my creativity stems from the terrain... And when it is flat it is a black screen with static... nothing comes to mind as I usually don't do modern settings... or rather i don't flatten entire maps that large to accomidate a big build. I incorporate a big build into the terrain, which to me makes more sense. And yes i can see others over thrilled with it, just not me...
3. What feature are you lokking foward to in the future?
Breeding so I can Really make a farm, as this updates melons does not mean farm to me... To me having despawn without breeding makes for an empty farm beyond chickens.. So in conclusion there is not much farm that can be done.
The main thing I am looking forward to is the upside down placement of stairs & slabs as well having a stairs block for sandstone and having even more blocks to choose from if not work with.
What i hope is that they will consider bringing colored planks and sideways logs from 1.3 that way I could work a more wood-like design instead of the bland 1 plank/stairs/slab and 4 wood (Jungle when it comes out would be the 4th) as i rather add color to anything i have without having to use creative. Which this current update kinda puts into that train of thought whether i like it or not. Sheep farm is one thing I wanted to do, but is disheartening for now until it does come about.

I havent found any strongholds or mineshafts, but the ravines, now that is a sight. Im enjoying the animals not despawning, but finding certain animals does become difficult, but killing animals you dont want simplifies that. giant mushrooms! im shocked that i havent seen that around the forums, we can make giant mushrooms now.
least favorite? the bugs, but only 2 really bug (heh) me. the one where chests dont appear, and the one where signs dont appear.
im looking forward to mushroom biomes, mooshrooms, and leading animals with wheat. probably could care less about breeding, but fencing in a cow, pushing it, and refencing...ugh. no regrowing wool is a bummer
