In creative mode, using a water/lava bucket uses up the water/lava. It should save the water/lava so it can be re-used as a source bucket forever.

Nope, its no big deal at all, just a tiny annoyance for some.

Just grab more buckets or fill up the inventory as needed with them, easy fix.

It's annoying for me. My world turned all to ice and I had to fix up all my farms. It tok forever to re-supply the buckets every time I used it.
