As we all know, 1.8.2 generated features not available in the previous version, such as Towns.
Which we had to start a new world in order to be able to use.
My question is: Is there going to be another update with stuff in which you need to start a new game to use? Like when we get NPCs, will you have to start a new world to get them to spawn?
I've read that something, such as "Nether fortresses" Are coming, and will need to have a new world started, but if i dont go to the nether till then, I should be fine..
Don't worry, the next update won't be here for a while(If its like the current update). But when it does come, here are what will be added.
-Extreme Hills
-Jungles
-Swamp Huts (12w39A)
-Nether Fortresses
-Strongholds (Might be in already)Forgot these-
-Desert Well
-Desert Temples
-Jungle Temples
they are thinking on making another update before the 1.2 or what ever u call it where they add enchanting breeding and stuff. so. yea tahts why its soon also there will also prolly be a bug update thing.
We might not get those unless 4J moves them up to 1.2.3. After the 1.2 update, they are most likely to stop following the PC version and do their own thing.
The next update adds, End portals(and the end) to Strongholds, A change to Swamp Biomes. Jungle Biomes, Mushroom biomes, Nether Fortresses, Breeding, Enchanting, Breweing, NPC Villagers, Ocelots. A new world is not needed, but could be necessary.
Next update won't be released till December or January, that is the most likely prediction atleast. So you've got awhile.

Wont they be working on a bug fix for these bugs instead of that update?
In that case, I should probably wait, rather than get a huge place developed and have to abandon it again ;z
