Were you unable to climb vines or something in this update?
I placed vines up and down a cobble wall and was unable to climb.. Idk if it's because I was in creative or because it is for some reason not in this update?
Backed up by a blog? Screw this I'm not going to start writing a bunch of nonsense about my life and post it on the internet to be able to climb vines. 4J is asking way to much if this is true.

I did notice you could walk thru them when hanging on trees. Sucks if we can't climb when they are attached to them.

I thought vines were made TO CLIMB :o.
Correct. Vines were not climbable until release 1.2.1.
