I'm having a REALLY hard time finding neutral mobs (cows, pigs, sheep, chickens) since the update. I traveled the entire map and killed everything I've found so far, which came out to 10 pigs, 3 cows, 2 sheep and 8 chickens. After setting out a second time I cannot find any more. ): I've had to start playing on Peaceful because I have no more food, and not even enough wool to make a bed. /: It's been about 3-4 days ingame and still nothing..
I did notice a huge number of wolves, mostly around the edge of the map, could they be killing all the other mobs before I can? Iirc breeding wasn't in the update, so do I need to go around killing wolves?
I read that mobs won't de-spawn, so this is very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
you have to be careful killing animals now as they dont spawn anywhere near as quick as they did before, think there getting ready for breading, build a chicken farm is a good idea
dont forget theres more to eat than just meat, you got fish, bread rolls, melons etc
Oh, ok. That kinda sucks, but at least I know my map isn't messed up. My world is also about 70% water so I'm sure that doesn't help. /:
I know about the other food, but I've found no melons unfortunately. I've been growing wheat, but since I have no Bone Meal it takes forever.
