Is there any way we can say that strongholds spawning and mineshafts spawning in pieces and broken etc is considered a bug. I mean its not game breaking, but it is pretty annoying.
I saw this mentioned in an earlier post but not added to the list. I had a world created with a rather large structure built. I had mined close to 200,000 blocks. After downloading the update, I loaded up my world I had been working in, but I did not convert it to creative mode at that time. After loading and looking around to see what if any changes might have happened, I saved the game and exited. I then checked my leaderboard stats and they had been reset. I lost all of the progress I had in my block mining. I understood that when you create/convert a world to creative mode then the leader board stats and achievements are disabled but didn't realize that I would lose all my stats.
On a couple different occasions I noticed water flowing directly on top of lava and nothing happenning. http://i.imgur.com/O6Srx.jpg
Also there's apparently an invisible chest glitch
I also suggest you just give Lava and water source blocks - don't bother messing with buckets. And aren't mobs not supposed to attack or aggro to you when you're in creative mode? Cuz they do now.
Oh, and the abillity to turn off In-Game gamertags is a little vague. You probably should put it in Host Options considering the host is the only one who can alter the setting.
EDIT: One more thing! Please alter the Trust Players function to allow button, lever, and wooden door activation! Maybe even torch placement.
I came across a bug today on a new world I created (1.8.2) I built my house, lit it up, it was night so I went to up to the room with a bed in it and made sure the room was well lit (10 torches in an 8x7 area) I went to sleep... and a zombie spawned and woke me up. Surely 10 torches in an 8x7 room should stop anything from spawning. I killed the zombie and tried to sleep again and was woken up by a skeleton, killed it, placed 2 more torches down right next to the bed. Tried sleeping a 3rd time and was woken up yet again by another skeleton. I killed it and placed 2 more torches just above the bed and a skeleton spawned again when I tried to sleep. I placed 5 more torches down on the floor in the corners of the room (where there were already torches placed up on the wall) and finally I could sleep in peace without being woken up by a mob. Is there a lighting glitch or something? it took 19 torches for them to finally stop spawning when i'd try sleep, that's ridiculous... Now the room in the house I built looks really unaesthetic because there are just 9 torches on the floor.
Yeah, the lighting issue is really really bad... I found a strong hold, and normally when a torch is placed, or has already been there, only half the room was lit while the other half was dark, and torches light up to 10 blocks, but this room couldn't have been only but 5 blocks as it was like a jail cell but no iron bars around it. just the bricks and an iron door.
Which also the iron doors seem to reopen when closed in a strong hold. I open the door with the button there, then I go through, makes the sound to close, and then I walk in, it closes, yet a few seconds later it opens. It's on peaceful so there isn't any mobs, I was in creative as I am making an adventure map, and what better building to place chests with food and weapons than a strong hold!? So nothing should have opened that door. My friend suggested it seemed as if it were being powered, yet I broke bricks around wondering the same thing and no red stone, and nothing else powering it besides the button.
i found a bug were in my multiplayer world during the game i removed pvp when i put it back on around 1hr later it said was on but its not and i cant hurt anyone and this was the day of the update and its still glitched now

Does your bed happen to be against on outside wall of the building?
I noticed this in the last version, and it was supposed to be updated. IF your bed IS against an outside wall of the building, and the outside of the building is not lit up that well, then mobs will spawn in your room. I found that when I moved my bed into the centre of the room, I was able to sleep all night without being woke.
There IS an issue with the lighting, but I think that this only affects how players see the game, NOT the game mechanics.
The jukebox is not really loud when i step away 10 blocks. It should be a bit louder when you step away a few blocks. I can rarely hear it at 15 blocks away
When many entities are around a railroad, the minecart will stop after a few blocks, and not move.
for example: I have a melon farm, going down my railroad. If i just ride the minecart, it is fine.... but when I harvest my farm, then ride my minecart, it will move about 7 blocks, then stop, right ontop of a powered rail. Even when it is going at top speed. VERY STRESSFUL. Please fix!
Note: i have no piston, or anything that could interfere with my rail road beside it, my pistons to harvest my melons are 3 blocks away...
Bojopancacks
I can confirm this behavior as well. I have a minecart to take me to the bottom of my mob trap. At full speed after dropping about 30 blocks and leveling out, my minecart comes to a dead stop before right next to base of the trap with all of the entities dropped by mobs.
I can verify this... I have also been noticing chickens that seem to go missing from a fenced enclosure after re-entering a world after using the exit and save option. That is, they can't be seen in the pen, but eggs still appear in the pen out of nowhere. This has happened to me on two different seeds now.
I realize I'm quoting myself here; but I've done another experiment and believe this "Invisible Chicken" Glitch is happening to other mobs as well. I went into a Superflat world and penned every animal I could see. I saved and exited and when I re-entered the game, 3 of the pens appeared empty. Apparently missing were 1 pig, 1 cow, and 1 sheep. They could not have escaped since the fences were completely surrounding each animal. There was nothing in the world that could have harmed them. Just like the chickens, I believe they were probably still there... it's just that they don't drop anything like eggs as evidence. I didn't have time to test it last night, but I think if I ignite the area inside each pen with a flint and steel, I'll probably get a drop from invisible animals. This invisibility issue may be exacerbating the alleged low spawning rates. The mobs may still be around, but we're just not able to see some of them.
It may also be happening to the hostile mobs, since several people have reported being attacked by invisible hostile mobs.
ETA: Please also see MrPinoyRocker's post (below) - he is now also confirming that this invisibility glitch is also happening to his tamed wolves.
I have just noticed that several pages of this thread have been deleted and some of the bugs reported (and subsequently confirmed) have not been added to the list on the first page. For example, I reported that I thought the tutorial was just using whatever difficulty level had been used previously by the player rather than allowing the player to set a difficulty level upon creating a new tutorial world. This particular bug was subsequently confirmed in a post by 4J Steve. Both those posts are now gone and there is no mention of this bug on the 1st page listing. Depending on what is being done with the deleted pages, I'm a little concerned that some of the bugs being reported may wind up just getting overlooked.
everyone I talk to has had so many lagging issues I actually counted the seconds it took for a block to update the other night, 176 seconds that's almost 3 minutes of lag!!
And on another map my friend has, that I play on all the time, we have invisible chickens somehow that spawn eggs for our coupe and all the items you can see laying on the ground or even the minecarts have certain viewing angles that make them invisible or start blinking.Oh and another thing the chests that we have now are way too loud, so loud in fact that I have to turn my volume way down and can hardly hear anything else besides the chest opening!

I noticed this today. I really dont know why you can't hear a juke box from 16 blocks away. I think it should have a much larger distance at least 50 blocks.
This upset me greatly.
nope its on survival mode

Try the above and let us know.

1. No trap doors available in survival mode.
2. Not a single squid has spawned in my world.
