hello the only problem i am facing is when i start playing minecraft about 5-10 minutes the game will crash, i've loaded up 2 of my maps and started 2 maps one for creative the other in survival and still have the same problem. please note i never had this problem untill the new update 1.8.2 was released so could you please take a look and see what is happen please
I've found a bug that really bothers me; sometimes I open a chest and the opening animation starts normally, but when I get out of the menu, the chest stays open. It doesn't matter how many times I try to close it, it won't close. The only way for it to get closed is to quit the world and load it again or destroying the chest.
Also, I know it's in the list, but the lack of animals is horrible. I really need to survive thanks to agriculture because animals take ages to spawn, so I hope they can get that fixed.
After buying the Skin Pack 3 my Xbox locks up if I play online mode or try going into someones game in Minecraft 360, but seems I can play in offline mode. I have tried deleting Skin Pack 3 however still locks up. Leader boards stats all are still gone.
Errors do to 1.8.2 update world locked up if I loaded in online mode however was able to fix by loading into world in offline mode then braking all my chests "all were black" after that saved game and was able to play online mode again.
I have two mushroom farms in different areas of my map. Since the update, it appears that the mushrooms have simply stopped growing (spreading to new blocks). I've tried placing mushrooms in new areas and come back and check on them occasionally but have not seen any new ones appear.
Also, another member posted about the surround sound being out of whack. I have noticed this since the initial release: the "center" for surround sound just seems completely off. Sound effects like running, eating, seem to come from behind me. Trying to listen to mobs underground and dig towards them is utterly frustrating because the source cannot be reliably tracked. Please fix surround sound!
When I dug a hole to bedrock and started blowing up the cave i moved away from the hole I made and it got dark so I put a lot of lights and that didn't help. I started digging other holes from the surface and every time I got under or really close to one the lighting was normal. Here's a video
I have an issue where if i am trying to mine either glass panes or iron bars sometimes it will miss the hit box somehow and mine the block on the opposite side of the block space. not a big issue but its sometimes annoying. keep up the great work!
Thing is, it isn't a lighting glitch. Fortunately, when i first came upon this i was in creative so no dying. Did the put everything into a chest, sleep nearby to create a new spawn point, saved, and then reloaded in survival. I walked where the water is on the lava and there should be obsidian even if it can't be seen. I fell into the lava.
Other than that, i have the same issues as everyone else:
-Skeletons shooting me through glass panes
-can't mine bookshelves, but can mine glass panes (don't know if it's supposed to be this way, but my son says it's the other way around on the PC)
-invisible passive and aggressive mobs
-black chests (which i fixed)
-completely random freezing and crashing of the Xbox while playing MC offline/single player
-no online play or get online and then get kicked (without the host kicking me), froze out, lagged out, and Xbox crashes
-creative not working when the tutorial is first started until you save, quit, and reload (which ends the tutorial so i had to learn creative on my own)
-no red flowers until i farmed a skeleton grinder for bones to make bonemeal and then randomly made things grow to harvest the red flowers (don't know if that is intentional, but my son says that didn't happen on his update in the PC version so i'm putting it here)
-have resorted to shear and kill in order to obtain more wool as well as killing the over abundance of wolves to "help" other passives to spawn
On a brighter note, thank you! Not only for creative, but also the saplings growing into more than just duplicate miniatures. I was so excited to see the various trees (including huge ones) from saplings after working in/on my house for a time. Maybe it's a little thing to most people. To me it improves the visual aesthetics of the game to have trees like the ones i cut down grow from the saplings. Keep up the good work!

Serious bug with local multiplayer on the tutorial level: second, third and fourth player can't use the LT at all (can't place blocks, eat food, use items, open chests, etc.)
This is not a controller issue, and only occurs on the Tutorial level. Saving, exiting and re-loading the saved tutorial doesn't fix the problem.
Sticky pistons, when extended, sometimes glitch out. The wooden parts of the piston disappear along with the block that they were pushing. Toggling the power to the piston fixes the piston, but the block is gone permanently.
Lately, I have come across a rather odd glitch. I've been playing a survival island map, (for those of you who are wondering, the seed is "AWESOME"), and I attempted to start a chicken farm. I had 1 chicken in a fenced area, and I saved and exited the world. When I came back, the chicken was gone, along with a boat I had made. I reentered the world in creative mode, and chucked a bunch of eggs in the pen, which gave me about five or so chickens. However, when I entered the world in survival again, they were all gone. My boat had came back, though. I had also noticed that some of my crops were turned to dirt, as if something had walked on them. I went to creative mode and back, and sure enough, there were no chickens, plus my boat was gone again.
The strangest part was, during all of this, eggs would randomly appear on the ground, as if chickens were there. I can't see or hear them, and I can walk all over my island without bumping into anything.
tldr; INVISIBLE CHICKENS AND BOAT!!!
Some other glitches I've noticed is that I can only have so many chickens in one area. If I have too many, none will come out of eggs. If I make a melon block from melon slices and break it, it gives me less than nine slices. Then the usual: Wells spawn outside of villages, game crashes when renaming worlds, glass/bars are hard to place, stair don't give you stair blocks, chests from olderworlds are darkened and placed incorrectly, bonus chests keep spawning when you enter a world.
It really makes you wonder what the heck the people at the Microsoft Cert Testing area were doing to test this game.
**EDIT**
Upon using some Flint and Steel on my island by placing fire randomly, I was able to recieve some cooked chicken seemingly out of nowhere. This seems to have taken care of some of the invisible chickens.
I can verify this... I have also been noticing chickens that seem to go missing from a fenced enclosure after re-entering a world after using the exit and save option. That is, they can't be seen in the pen, but eggs still appear in the pen out of nowhere. This has happened to me on two different seeds now.
I'm not sure if this has been stated yet, but blocks tend to become invisible when laying them down, mainly happens with TNT.
So here is the story. I created a new world just to blow it up. I go to bed rock and put 128 TNT all the way up, but when laying them down it seems to vanish, the Blocks are still there though. I tried to place another block (Glowstone) down away from the area, and it was the same thing.
BUG: If you turn off gamertags to not appear on maps, it only works until you die then you appear back on the map again, even if gamertags are still off.

glad to know that the "invisible chicken" issue is glitch because even on the "fireflies" map... i don't get agg. mobs or farm animals.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet. This just popped up last night for me after a week of no problems. Coincidently, xbox had a system update yesterday, not sure if it's related. But anyway, doors seem to split in half, sometimes the top (or bottom) is open but the other half is closed. Another thing I started noticing yesterday is that half of my bed disappears. I think it's limited to only when placed next to a wall. One last thing I have noticed is that pistons seem to disappear sometimes too.
Again, never noticed any of these things until yesterday.
Other than that. Thank you so much for creative mode. Please bring us upside down steps and the ability to place slabs in the top half of a space. Of course, as well as enchantment tables. =)
It's in a new world too. When you hold nothing in your hand, the door sound doesn't play.
I can confirm this happens in both old version saves and 1.8.2 saves. I can also tell you this occurs for all four players when playing local multiplayer (4 controllers, 1 console).

For some reason in my old world the game no thinks that part of the map is some kind of snow biome, when it is (or was) actually a plains/forest biome - A lake next to my house has frozen into ice and the grass around it is now a darker shade of green. There's even some ice in the pools in the desert!
Also, NPC village wells spawn in the middle of nowhere with no village at all surrounding them.
I hope you can fix these and I hope I've helped
Exactly whats happened in my world i have worked so very hard on, scroll to my post on the previous page and look at the picture i posted
Playing 1.8.2 on a newly created world in survival.
About 5 or 10 minutes into the game, playing split screen with my kid. I was top screen and owner of the map.
I am mining a tree by hand for wood and I start taking damage (daytime). I immediately yell at my kid to knock it off, but she says it't not her, which a quick view of her screen confirms.
I continue mining and take damage again.
I start walking around and notice I am getting 'bumped' around like someone is walking into me.
I then notice that whenever I walk backwards I can see my own character, and I can also hit myself which causes damage to me.
I switch to third person view and sure enough there are two copies of my Steve. One following the other. Whenever I mine or swing, if one hits the other I take damage. I died on purpose and upon respawning still had my ghost following me and beating me up.
I had to quit the game and restart to get it to clear up. My daughter thought the whole thing was quite hilarious.
I have another one for you. Since literally everything for our HDTV runs through the surround system before getting to the HDTV, we sometimes play with the surround sound on. This is especially true when any of us are on survival and waiting out a thunderstorm. It sounds neat and makes my niece giggle herself silly. Anyway, the sound from the Xbox used to balance out between the speakers (behind was behind, left was left, etc.) and you could only hear the subwoofer when there was thunder or our Steves would take major falls (remember the "oof!"). Yesterday, my son brought some friends home after school to local multiplayer MC and they wanted to use the surround sound. This is where is gets strange. With four players walking, you should only hear four sets of footsteps, except we didn't. It sounded like each of them had an echo. Imagine a crowd of Steves walking on grass/stone. Passive and aggressive mobs all had echoes, too. Maybe their echoes even had echoes. It was annoying. I tried changing every possible aspect and setting on the surround sound system, but nothing fixed it. Switched cords around so that the Xbox's HDMI cord went into the tele directly, still the same result. This didn't happen pre-update and none of us had been playing much with the sound up since the update. Also, when adjusting the audio settings (music and sound effects), it doesn't matter where you set the sound effects setting, it always returns the sound effects to 100% after a save and when reentering the game - even when sound effects are set as low as 20%. I don't know if either of these things is really a bug/glitch, but having a door sound at 100% after an autosave when it's set at 20% is startling for everyone, not just those playing.

Worked fine for me with one black, one white, and one brown, as well as with three black.
This is called "void fog" and is a new feature in this version. See http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Bedrock#Void_fog for more information.
Yes, that comes in a later update.
