I just watched my formerly fenced in chickens just jump over the fence as easy as pie. Immediately quit and will play something else. I worked too hard to get them hatched and fenced in to have them just up and leave over something that is supposed to keep them.
So I looked though all the bugs but didn't find anything about this, but i started to build an underground tree farm and work great till the tree spawned with no leaves. Now you would think this wouldn't be a big problem but the game still thinks the leaves are there and can't be destroyed. Does anyone knows how to fix this, since I'm a underground tree farm noob.
Ok, so I've been experimenting with this since the original post. The problem I have identified is a render glitch where when a tree grows some or all of its leaves are invisible. It looks like a user pointed out the cause, but I would like to clarify. It appears to be caused by the leaves trying to spawn next to or near a solid block of some kind, including the player. I tried over a hundred trees, using bonemeal btw, and only had problems when there was a blockage of some kind. It is important to note that the light level did not affect it. However, placing and removing a torch nearby will cause a lighting update and the leaves will become visible. I looked, and could not find a PC equivalent to this bug so maybe its just something special for us xbox guys.
Hope this helps you guys find the issue. Sorry, but I didn't even think to get screenies.

I've actually experienced both those with 1 sign that I was just replacing the block it was on. Soon as I broke the block the sign pops off, and when I put the sign back on the block, before pressing done, the original text is there. Now after I press done the sign went invisible. Don't know why that happened. I just ended up breaking the sign directly and rewriting the sign.

1) Doors stand open when I come back to my house after a while.

2) All sheeps in my world are naked and the wool won't grow back.
(Do I really have to kill them in order to get more wool?)
2. yes. Since they have not put in that function of sheeps yet in game. When breeding comes out I can say more likely they will regrow wool, but for now all you can do is a slaughter house...

Bugs i have found myself, Enderman rarely drop ever drop ender pearls, your hand doesnt animate when you open a door bare handed, Pressure plates like to sometimes not work, When shot arrows at other players the classic ghost arrows where still there.
I found a bug in the creative mode!
When I place an iron door and i try to open it without any buttons/pressure plates it makes the sound but doesn't open

Only about 5 of these are bugs... The name thing for the logs and leaves was added in 1.3 I think on PC, Endermen take blocks around their vicinity, that's just what they do, Cobblestone Steps have always been called Stone Steps, even on PC, Stairs don't drop stairs until later on, slabs have always cast the weird shadow, dead bushes aren't supposed to be able to be collected as far as I know, snow isn't supposed to fall on slabs or plants, only full blocks and sleeping gets rid of rain or snow, and slabs are mined with a pickaxe on PC I think. So yeah most of them are just not bugs at all...
The pickaxe being used for wooden slabs actually got fixed on PC in 1.3, I think it was… it was a result of them being cloned off the stone slabs, which also results in them being fireproof. When it got fixed, all the old slabs stayed fireproof, with only new ones being flammable.

I found this out yesterday. When flying in creative, if somebody joins into your game, the player will stop flying and drop to the ground. This has happened multiple times.
-character doesn't make the groan/grunt noise when taking damage
-wooden doors now seem to respond to redstone as iron doors would( one door staying open if redstone signal is turned off )
-rare bug when loading an arrow and switching items causing you to attack yourself( my wolves then followed to attack and kill me )
-pigs don't seem to drop porkchops as often( 0-1 on average, 2 rarely) -chicken spawn rate seems to have dropped slightly
-bug when sprinting near a wall causing you to get caught in block and take random damage
-bug with wolves causing them to randomly stop sitting after leaving them seated and traveling away
-bug causing creeper to spawn indoors( happened to me twice so far ) -mob drop rate has decreased slightly
-rare bug causing slime to spawn on peaceful( edit. slime stay spawned on superflat after loading world on any dificulty above peaceful, and then exiting and reloading on peaceful)
-bug when trapping a passive mob in fencing with no exit (door,fencegate,block, etc...)causing them to despawn
-possible bug with mod health system/combat system altering the number of hits required to kill hostile mobs(without critical hits )(ex. Zombie dying in one hit,with an Iron Sword)
-enderman doesn't have mouth opening animation when angered
-enderman don't react to being stared at occaisionally
-no spark animation when critical hit is landed
-bug causing most animals to spawn in water(causing land animal span rarte to drastically drop)
-bug on creative mode causing you to have to break the block beneath to put out a fire
-character has no body animation when charging a bow
-hostile mobs attack you on creative mode as if you are on survival
-leaf blocks with snow on them don't decay(leaf blocks connected to leaf blocks with snow also don't decay)*edit leaf blocks don't decay unless one leaf block is destroyed by hand
-bug causing player to take random damage
-bug causing characters hand to rasndomly position as if in minecart

Not a glitch. Its due to the fences collision mask. Fences will connect to solid blocks in a future update. Find a different way to pen chickens in the meantime.
But 4J are trying to keep the Xbox updates exactly the same to the PC, or pretty much exact, so they would fix/change things according to the PC version.
True. and DrAtomic should also be made aware that 4J has a enough trouble just coding for the xbox - nevermind worrying about what code will eventually change. Theyve done a pretty good job of catching the major bugs ahead of time but theyll get to the others when those changes are made.
The MinecraftWiki has a full list of bugs and updates from previous versions and platforms. Studying it may help Doc to make a more informed post in the future.
I'm perfectly aware about the wiki bug pages but as a consumer I bought a XBox product not some crappy PC beta game. There is heaps of issues that are well documented and reported yet they still enter the xbox product. It's not 4J who's to bame here it's Mojang, Mojang should have gone back to their code and fixed issues in those builds before handing over the code to 4J to port.
Im sure you are also perfectly aware that the game isnt a port at all - Mojang wrote in java and 4j is rewriting in C++. If you dont want to play a crappy beta version buy the full PC game.
Anyway, bottomline remains that we should report any and all issues, 4J then can decided to leave them be or act upon them. A bug/inconsistency/annoyonance isn't a bug/inconsistency/annoyonance all of the sudden just because on the PC it was changed a couple of versions down the line; versions we might even never get to have.
I understand your point on getting a superior product but you seem to have missed the point Crazyb1ue and I have made. 4J already knows what changes go into each update - making a stink about them here is redundant and pointless. Assume those issues are already being addressed. This forum is for reporting bugs, not annoyances.
Hey guys. I'm sure this has been posted around here somewhere, but i'd still like to report a bug from my own personal experience that's been quite annoying for me.
Any mobs that are already active and spawned will turn invisible (not despawn) if the game is saved and exited, and then returned to.
As an example, I have a coup of chickens that are all in a single pen. About twelve of them. After I would save the game and exit, and then come back to that world at a future time, the chickens will have all disappeared, but at the same time eggs will appear every 5-10 minutes from inside the chicken coup. Also, Skeletons will remain disappeared, but shoot visible arrows, Zombies, Slimes, and Spiders will attack you normally but you won't see them (as if nothing is hitting you), and random explosions without warning from invisible Creepers. From my understanding, the only way these invisible mobs can be killed is if they walk into lava, set on fire with Flint & Steel, or shot at with arrows. It's very tiresome to be dealing with this because it makes the game a whole lot harder and annoying, especially.
Would anyone have a solution to this? If not, I feel like this should be a bug that is fixed right away. I thought it would be in the 1.8.2 Bug Fix Update, but sadly did not happen...

Curse PremiumA row of blocks that change around the world everytime i load it makes my frames drop hugely. A big bug for players and hosts.

This was changed to the leg-break sound to make the player genderless
