Generated NPC Village split in half - and light coming from no source during night
On the "santa" seed, in the middle very left side of the map, there is a village that got split in half. I was on creative - not superflat - peaceful - gen structures
Also: after I burned trees down, and the fire was gone, the light stayed.
the village is split because it spawned at the edge of the map, where it can't spawn completely due to xbox 360 edition not having infinite worlds.
Gold Sword i could only get about 10-15 attacks out of, meanwhile the iron sword still lasted much longer, and yes legitimate attacks not attemps to mine with it, ill try again right now to see if i can get a clear count
Also it took 5 hits to kill a creeper just now, only takes 3 hits with iron
5 hits for a zombie as well
33 hits total out of a gold sword,
im at 41 hits with iron sword and only a quarter of the way through the health bar
is gold a softer materail you might not get more damage with it and it may not last as long iron becuase it is softer then iron
I really enjoy using redstone. It is mostly the reason I play minecraft on the xbox and pc. I would really like to see redstone get updated on the xbox. There is a glitch where when using a "T-flip flop" the repeater facing the piston overall facing the sun and/or moon will not get power to it. Another thing is why can't you place anything on a slab directly? On the pc version you can place stairs upside down and slabs on the top half of the block, not to mention you can place redstone on a slab or upside down stairs as well.
I have alot of complex redstone that stopped working I have just left it alone in my old saves hoping they would patch it, I dont know if the patch will fix it though even though the patch broke my old world saves.
I know no one beleived me on this one here it is for you, I even did a swim through of the block on this for you in the video, for the non believers thinking I put obsidan there left it there to fool you.
Phantom blocks with out Xray on surface of water this time on the surface I tried to remove it, it can not be removed...........!!!!!
Secound issue:
The seed algorithm is now ca ca and that is putting it as politely as I can say I wanted to use the seed number to pull up the old worlds I used my number -5351704028344513458 and got an ocean with a few islands is this supose to be funny..
Third Issue:
Fix to limit the number of Slimes, Ghasts and Silverfish that can be spawned in a world.
Does this mean once you kill them all thats it there are no more?

No disrespect implied, but I think the problem here is with the user. That's a shadow, from a block floating in the air. Its even in the video.

no it is not from a shadow the block is jet black like the others from previous shown and I checked in the day as well. I coould tare away the whole mountian and the block would still be there.
these were there in pre 1.8 at the edge of the map as well jet black sections as well and one such section rendered right in to a house I could not get rid of.

We cant fix the bugs becuse your Xboxs are old you need to by new ones, the xbox only has 512mb of ram and so on. we cant fix the seed problem because....... there are not such thing as phantom blocks...

you get invited to a players mincraft game you, save your game you dont exit your map you just go to the game invite and crash your box....
this is happening wiht all boxes I see my post was ignored on this as well because it is all so a phantom bug and not recreatable either
I'm pretty sure this has allways been the way it works, gold sword is pretty and expensive but gold in reality is far softer then iron, I always thought that was the reason gold stuff where's out very fast in game. Always made sense to me.
Well thank you guys, i clearly am half retarded... i would have expected better metal better weapon.. thats how most games work copper > iron > steel > gold etc etc i didnt make a real life connection to how soft the metals would actually be... my bad lol
Yeah that's right. As far as I know the durability scale goes wood, gold, stone, iron and then diamond. Its one of the few things that's actually realistic in the game lol

My thread above lists what the issue is. But basically, the animals behavior needs to be fixed, or there needs to be something added to make an animal drown in deep water. The animals will venture out into the middle of NOWHERE, no islands/land around, and swim there. Because the animals can't despawn, you have to go out and kill them. But it turns into a chore because there are herds of animals out there with no land in sight.
This glitch has been bugging me a while. It is a graphical one. When you ride a minecart, usually at full speed and are looking behind you, the cart will flicker & sometimes go invisible for a while. It is minor I know, but does happen. The cart does become visible every so often and continues to flicker when at medium to high speeds, and will stop doing that once the cart has stopped moving. Unsure what causes this.
Also on the same note as Minecarts, are you suppose to take damage when going around a sharp curve. This is when the minecart is right up against the corner of the curve and the corner is made of full blocks. It is only half a heart though so nothing too much to worry about.
Third and final thing, also with minecarts. When you have half slabs to either side of the rail track, lining it all the way, it slows you down more than usual around curves and up slopes. Even when you go down slopes it isn't as fast as it should be when going down. Is this suppose to happen with slabs? The only work around is to lay more powered rails along the line, which isn't too much of a hassle since I love building railroads...:D

that's is just another version of the extreme shadow lighting glitch. I think it's due to shadows not updating when they should (i.e. the system thinks the block is "under" something else.

That is not a glitch - they changed the biome mapping order when Majong introduced 1.8. Since the biome code froms the basis of most future updates, the easiest thing to do would follow Mojang's code and accept the biome change. Think of it this way; before biome "4" was "forest." Now, they inserted "ocean" as "4" and forest shifts to "5." Obviously it's not a simple as this, but effectively that is what happened. This explains why many old worlds now have deserts where it snows.
While walking into my current Mineshaft (that is near a Ravine) I blew up. I assumed it was a creeper and because I didn't want to lose my perfectly sculpted opening I decided to exit without saving and reload. Again I blew up when approaching a certain point, reloaded again then cautiously approached the area again while making sure to watch my back. There were no creepers in sight anywhere and then I was attacked by arrows coming through the wall diagonally at me. I was able to hide behind a 1 block corner and the arrows would stack up on that corner diagonal to the Wall as if they were being shot through the wall at me. Eventually the wall I was hiding behind Exploded. I heard no hissing before the explosion (which would normally accompany a Creeper), and everything about the situation did not make any sense to me. I cannot understand how arrows could fly out of a Solid Stone Wall nor do I understand how an Arrow could possibly explode (Nor do I believe in the Myth perpetuated by trolls). Please tell me whether this is just a pure glitch or an attempt at a new monster or Haunting Script.

I didnt write the code but I would assume reduced from 1.8 rates. Yes this would affect slime farms and other natural spawns but mob spawner blocks work differently.

This has always been in the game. The player's hitbox collides with the block's and causes damage. Changing the hitboxes will cause a whole mess of new issues so its just something we need to live with.
There's a bug in the Creative menu with the bush and dead bush.

I can't find anything on the wiki that even suggests the "tall grass" (left one in screenshot) even exists in the PC version, but it's identical to the dead bush (right one in screenshot), but can be placed on grass blocks. I've also only found the dead bush while walking around in game and only in deserts. It's not game-breaking or anything. Just confusing. Is this a bug? Or for something that will be implemented later?

The spawn rates were reduced. They will still spawn just not as fast or as many.
reduced from what 1.7 had or 1.8 because this will effect slime traps and and mob spawners
