When 4JSteve last queried about the "invisible chicken" bug, he indicated that to that point they had been unable to duplicate it happening in their tests. Some "bugs" are hard to replicate... and it's difficult to fix what you can't replicate. So, I know they've been looking into it; but I don't know that they've been able to find and fix it yet.
No, this wasn't an invisible chicken. You are sadly mistaken if you think this was a chicken. It made no noise, and I could not see it, it was midday, and it attacked me. I tried to let it kill me so i could see what the death message said, but it stopped.Sometimes when you try to kick players from your game, (This is because all of my friends are griefers and trolls), it sometimes takes up to a minute to kick the player, and he player could be in your game destroying your stuff in your game.

My use of the term "invisible chicken" bug was only because it was first noticed when chickens had disappeared from enclosed pens and eggs started appearing inside the pen out of nowhere. Other mobs have been reported as being invisible, including incidents of invisible hostile mobs (creepers) attacking players.
Please do some reading up on lag, what it is and what causes it. It is generally a hardware issue. The XBox 360 has been in production without major additions to its real "guts" for many, many years. It has limited RAM (512 MB) and a very old-style, not very powerful graphics card by today's standards (500 mHz). When it was first produced, it was state of the art; but currently, most PCs are far more powerful and the gaming PCs that run Minecraft PC so well are worlds and worlds more powerful than the XBox. There is really nothing 4J can do about the hardware limitations of the XBox. That's up to Microsoft to decide if and when they produce a more powerful XBox console.
Havent gone through the entire thread to see if this has been posted yet, so, sorry if it has. Yesterday a buddy of mine died like 15 times from invisible wolves before I quit the game and reloaded. I thought it might have been because I used host privileges to turn invisible, and that may have turned my tamed wolves invisible as well, but I cant seem to recreate the bug.

Oh, lag is what's causing it? Yeah I know that xboxes aren't powerful and I know that it only has 512 mb of ram, I just did not know it was lag.

Yes... at least that's my current theory. Of course, I could be wrong. The programmers are the only ones that could really say. However, there seem to be several indicators causing me to lean in this direction. For example, It's not something that's happening all the time (that is, not all the mobs of a particular type are invisible). However, it is happening frequently enough that it can't just be put off to the player's not seeing the mobs. When mobs are about, there is generally a lot of movement going on and so, I think, the demands on the graphics card increase... it hits overload, lags, and then can simply no longer render the mobs correctly. Bingo... invisible mobs.

That must also explain what happened when i was fighting an army of mobs and they were flickering along with items on the ground.
New information collected 1.7 and older world save crash issues:
So after looking into this for a while
A. I know for a fact the file size is affected and confirmed by using the rename option size reduced from 20MB or larger to 10MB...
B. Deleting and restoring all chests, helped resolved the issue part way, all chest have to be found...
C. Signs did not seem to make a difference.
D. what did make a different, having all player die and drop inventory, with option B implemented this resolved crash and you could play on line.
E. With option B and D used and not A used this resulted in an eventual fail to load seems to be related to file size. No Green status bar during load Xbox crashed reboot required.
F. With option A first then options B and D implemented this resolved crash and you could play on line and the eventual fail to load seems to be related to file size went away.
G. This crash issue seems to remain with only the host playing and no guests playing and going back to the same place with options A, B, and D implemented. There seems to be some thing related to the biome and or location as snow is taking over the map now. I am looking in to the issue further and I am going to dig up the whole area of the section of the map to bedrock to find the issue. There has to be some thing there. This may be related to redstone or something at the edge of the map effecting the the inner map area with the update....
H: User inventory Pointers, EOF and or both, I believe are getting screwed on this one between versions I found users having two maps in there inventory and two of the same item in many instances before death, re: tow picks, shovels armor and so on etc. etc..., even a user who was partially invisible to death wondering were there armor was. Pointing back at the line A issue.
I had to suffer a very severe bug on the 1.8.2 update on Minecraft: Xbox 360.
I created a new world right when the 1.8.2 update was released with a random seed, and it's been working great for a week. But, after that week, anytime I uploaded my map as an online game, it would freeze within 10 seconds, and I would have to restart the system. I can only play my world offline by myself. So for now, I can't play online with this map without having it freeze the Xbox.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Yes i have the same problem i can only play tha game offline :/
I found a minor one the other day, read through and didnt see it yet(doesn't mean its not there if it is please dont flame). When making bunk beds when my brother squated and used the bed he appeared on the floor next to the bottom bed. Did it multiple times always recieving the same results.
This has been known to happen from day one on the XBox. 4J have stated that it is most likely "lag" related. Lag may be caused by various factors, including your XBox and/or controller wearing out, your internet connection (signal strength, bandwidth, speed), and the Xbox trying to process a large amount of data at once (e.g. playing in splitscreen mode). Even though the XBox has 3 processors, the RAM is very limited; and it an ongoing issue with trying to "squeeze" all of this complex game onto that system. It is not likely to be a coding bug that can be just fixed that easily.
I don't know why people are not listing the type of Xbox. it might just help if 4J listed the CPU under the seed number during load this way more information could be collected.
This way we would know if these bugs are more prevalent with the versions of Xbox's, CPU's and GPU's that came out.
This would give you an idea of what the Xbox is doing with the memory, stack and so on. they have to port a game that now spans several versions of the Xbox up to and including the new slim. I am sure there is a object code they could do include and call to show at start up then clear the array and dump the object after.
If it is Microsoft's idea with 4J push the old out and force people to buy new Xbox's then I would believe this to be a bad mistake people will move on to something more playable if the cant afford a new console or a 20 dollar game.
I am already seeing people go back to "castle miner Z" again waiting for a bug release because don't want there world messed up.
Here is the other case....
6 people I know dumped the game this week and changing their mind after saying they would not by Halo again, they bought it because they were tired of the problems. 4 of 6 did not have jobs and traded old games so there was no new cash generated there if you want to get honest about it.
4J lost 6 users and any further DLC they have to sell as a result if I know 6 then I know there are a few out there that know a few that have left for the same reason.
The bugs are getting old and blaming the consoles when the consoles play the latest and most current games for sale is not cutting it.
They got a rocket to the moon on less then 8k of ram. I am not buying it\
Most definitely porting bugs in the code. I am sure they ran sort of a script over the code first to fix the most obvious porting issues, subroutines, function calls, and lib's that don't exist with in the Xbox360 frame work of coding then went on from there.
They did not start from scratch people and I don't still like shills.......
Yes i have the same problem i can only play tha game offline :/
allot of people already are read up a few.
I could 4J would take a few of these game saves and decompile them they would know what the cause it, oh wait they cant ask because it violates the Xbox TOS.
I would be glad to send them my first version to 1.8 save so they could fix it make a patch and fix every ones Else's problem on this issue as well and i am sure there are other people who would do the same.
Not download then reload to your Xbox save built from day one by you saves.

I used to think that way. But, when you really think about it, there is a lot less going on out in the "world" in both Castleminer Z and Halo. I think Minecraft is a game that uses a deceptive amount of processing power, in part because of all the things a fair distance away from each player that still grow and move about... on top of the fact that the player can essentially opt to change a huge number of blocks in the world... still without having to save over their world. Just because the graphics "look" more complex in some games, doesn't mean that they actually are.
4J have stated that the big limitation for them is RAM. You don't believe them and call them shills; but I do believe them.
PS: You obviously use a lot of language in your posts that just gets censored by the filter... which makes your posts very difficult to read. Many of your ideas just get lost as a result. You may be best advised to clean up those language "bugs" in what you write if you want to get your ideas across to others on these forums.

there has been no censorship you must not understand what I said or you can not comprehend what I said I used no bad language either if you want me ban just report me don't beat around the bush for me being blunt about the issues.
I guess you right then we need to scrap all our Xbox's and go to a PC like you have as well and your paying the bill right?
4J will have to Improvise, Adapt and Overcome orcall it quits according to their PC TOC. Every one else has and those who could made it those didn't went by the way side......
It is called a challenge and if the could not do it they should not have taken it on.
They will have to make good on it. and over come the problems.
I was taught the following things "excuses are easy", "I cant means you wont", "Accidents don't happen they are caused, They can an will be avoided at all costs or you will be replaced" these were drilled in to me every minute of the day!!!!

Yeah, I am definitely misunderstanding you. IF there are no words missing, then it's your lack of proper punctuation that is really confusing me. I AM honestly trying to understand what you're saying.
I NEVER implied that I play Minecraft on PC. I don't. I play it only on the XBox. So, your accusation:
Yeah, I am definitely misunderstanding you. IF there are no words missing, then it's your lack of proper punctuation that is really confusing me. I AM honestly trying to understand what you're saying.
UU_A, it's dropped letters and words. I recognize it because I do it all the time (having never learned how to type).
I have extensive nerve damage so using my hand are a challenge on a key board and keeping the line of thought straight
I do apologize for my original assumption that perhaps the filter was eliminating the missing words. It's not that I was thinking of reporting anyone, it was just that I have gone back myself and found that the filter had unexpectedly eliminated words from some of my posts without any warning or other indication that I was putting in a word that was remiss. My assumption as to the cause was faulty.
Honest, I am having great difficulty understanding what you're saying and I do regret that I'm obviously missing at least some of the points you've been trying to make. I believe in some respects we must agree, but this difficulty is preventing us from truly understanding each other.
