Are you guys? I'm going to have to create a new world eventually. I just don't think that time is now. I have so many builds to complete and I really love my current world. When I feel like I have done enough, I will make a new world. But who knows, that might be around 1.2.3!
Just build another world to enjoy the new structures. You don't have to play one world at a time. Finish your builds and play the new map juggle the worlds to get the best experience imo.

I am for sure. I have an idea for a floating city that's like..built on top of a huge whale. And a mountain-type city. If you seen the latest Star Trek movie, think of the city that was on the Vulcan homeworld.
I plan on deleting my old worlds, a lot of work went into them but oh well. Out with the old, in with the new.

The real question is: "Who isn't making a new world for 1.8.2?"
I'm sure everyone, at some point, will make a new world. At least to check out the new generation features, or start a superflat test world. I'm going to start on hopefully one of the most epic superflat worlds in MCXBLA. =D

I sure am. I for one hate the world gen code in 1.7. Its so much cleaner in 1.8. No more plains full of holes with semi covered water...Not to mention much better cave system(less dead ends).
Honestly I don't even have a minecraft world anymore. I lost my first through a stupid mistake, and since then I've deleted every world i've started due to anxiety for the next update...
One thing I wish they brought forward from previous updates was redstone lanterns...I really love those things haha.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Definately correct with the "who isn't"... I would expect 80%+ of people to make a new world on the first day they play after they download the update alone, and im sure everyone plans on making the most epic world, myself included, are you planning on using creative for it or playing with mobs?

I will NOT be making a new world. I would like to finish mine. Having creative mode will just make the experince oh sooooooo, well you know.
I'll be keeping 2 of my worlds for this update but I'll also be creating 3 new worlds.
1) My 1.7 world with all my builds/progress. I'd stay in survival and not spawn anything.
2) A clean 1.7 world with the seed Glacier. I'll play on it once I feel like the nostalgia factor of 1.7 world generation. I'd play in survival but I'll probably hold off on using it for quite a while until I miss the old generation again.
3) A new world for 1.8 with all the new features. I'd play in survival, like I usually do.
4) A recreation of Skyblock with creative mode and lots of tnt. Once I do a half decent recreation of skyblock in creative, I'd play in survival.
5) Superflat survival. I'll put a chest with the essentials through creative but other than that, I'd play and build in survival.
