When you input a seed will they be the same as on the pc for 1.8 or completely different because if their the same on the pc you could know already where everything is? I think they will be different but has anyone heard anything else?
On PC, 1.8 was when Mojang added the Anvil world generator. I can't say for sure, I don't know where 4J Studios will take world generation. Guess we will just have to wait.

Anvil came in 1.2, not 1.8.
The terrain generation in this update should be exactly the same as the PC 1.8. So any seeds from that time, should work. Just like how all seeds from the 1.6-1.7.3time worked for us.
