Why do people want all these new biomes if the world won't increase? That means everything needs to be cut into smaller chunks. I have no problem with the world size, probably because I don't have the PC version and don't know the potentiol. But why do oyu need all these different areas if you only have a "small" amount of space?

Maybe because people like variety? I get tired of the same types of landscapes and as a person who incorporates them into some of my designs, new biomes are kinda important to me.
Likely they won't be cut down either, we just won't be able to get more than a few of them in any one map. That sucks but does give a good excuse for running multiple maps.

They have said they were looking into the current map size, Which doesn't necessarily mean a bigger map but I think it's more than likely they will expand it in some way. So hopefully we will have all kinds of room for a nice variation of current and future biomes to come

If you don't get a map you like, make a new one.
