Well that trailer made me laugh a bit, but at the same time makes me excited to finally see this happening...:D
I guess I'll see tomorrow what i can do in my old worlds, and tonight think of what i can do to improve the look of what i have with all those new blocks and everything else... Wondering how long it took them to make that stuff in the trailer like the sand block update to unveil the 1.8.2 notice...O_o

Yeah, the trailer was funny. Except that, although I get Sheepman shearing himself - seems reasonable, Pigman carving a pork chop off of himself, however, is a little disturbing:P

No. That is incorrect. From what I read I think on one of the threads that are stickied that if you do not have explored chunks they will spawn there otherwise yes, you need a new map.

yes! but we have small world so i assume he/she explored the whole map already.

The title of the thread is "1.8.2 Releases Tuesday, October 16th". There really isn't much to be confused about there.
