Well, Skin Pack 3 has already been detailed with a release date announced(check my other thread). Although it is possible that they will still mention it. I only took this as news about the update because it was a response to a direct question about the update. Hopefully, they can give us some of the information that we are looking for.

I just hope the update comes out sometime this week, I've been itching to get back into Minecraft and I just can't bring myself to play at the moment when I know a major game overhaul is en route.

As of this post, it will be 12 p.m. Pacific Time in about 25 minutes. So the news should be out anytime from 25 minutes from now to around 5 hours from now(5 p.m. PST). It could be a few hours longer depending on how late their work day is.
I wounder if they were making a profit from the updates how long it would take or if things would be run a ill different as far as how info was put out and dates . What do you guys and girls think

Well they have about 4 million copies of MCXBLA sold at about 20 bucks a piece and not many employees to pay. Not to mention the money they get from skin packs
