I have a funny feeling that even if the 1.8.2 update was finished and was able to be released Friday, they didn't because of Happy Wars. Think about all the minecraft owners just waiting for the 1.8.2 update. If it was released on Friday, do you think that people would even look at Happy Wars over the weekend? Not a chance! I know I wouldn't. In fact, because a lot of people are bored and waiting for the 1.8.2 update, they are probably more than happy to try out Happy Wars, first of all because it's free and second of all the game will give them something to do over the weekend. What are your opinions of this?
Sorry, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. Happy Wars is 360's first F2P, of course nearly everyone is going to try it at some point. I suppose it's possible there's some big conspiracy going on, but I highly doubt it.
Yeah like it has been stated numerous times, the earliest possible release for the update would be today. I doubt that 4J was like oh we should wait for certification testing so people can play microsofts free game instead of playing our updated game that costs money to buy. On top of that alot of people that play mcx do not soley play minecraft, so even if they were released on the same day many people would still play happy wars.
Protip- I know many people that dislike happy wars and will not try the full version.

its not 4j whos holding it now its microsoft people keep blaming 4j for nothing cert testing means microsoft not 4j
so what my point was that a beta and a demo are not the same thing
Nope they aren't. It was still a demonstration version. Either way, the full version is basically a demo. It's a completely FREE game. People can download it, try it, and make up their minds then. When a game is free, there is no need for a demo.

you really had no point but to try to be ignorant towards what I posted, the open beta was a demo because the final version is essentially the same exact thing plus a few features that were locked. It may have been labeled a Beta but that it did not serve the exact purpose that a demo does.

I haven't even tried it out yet, but I'm curious about something. Is it P2W just like almost every F2P MORPG is? And is the free membership ridiculously limited, similar to games like Runescape?
I like F2P MMO's because you can play them casually and not feel like you're losing money. But, I find in most that the paying players can become insanely OP compared to free players. Aika is a perfect example of this. x_x

One more thing where was it officially stated that the update was going to be on Friday? In random speculation threads?

I've been playing Happy Wars for at least 2 months now.
He might mean the beta. There is/was a beta available to those who are testing the new pre-release dashboard.
Ninja'd by some guy with a mustache.
I meant more along the lines of 4J waiting on sending it to certification so microsoft could have their game release first.
