I want these so bad. I hope they put some in the next update and I don't even care if they are DLC even though that might cause problems. I really hope for once that Microsoft doesn't be greedy and let us download them for free.

The only two I'd have out of them would be LB photorealism & cartoon. All the rest are fugly. With that said, does anyone know the name of the cartoon texture pack on page eight?

I like classic crafting.
I mean it makes buildings like alot more legit.
Now if your a survival player don't mind meh post.
But i just think that it makes you a more skilled build without texture packs

I think it would make Minecraft that much more playable. Let me expand my thinking a little bit. The reason they shouldn't make it DLC is because you would have to buy it to see it. That means if you buy it and use it then your friend couldn't see it or use it which would be a drag and probably make it so only a certain people would buy it. (Sort of like map packs for COD) I think it would be more beneficial to give it away for free but you know Microsoft....

But 4J did the the thing where you could test out the Skins before you buy them.

I'm betting your Xbox 360 would melt if you attempted to run an HD Texture Pack on it.
So don't expect to see anything higher than maybe a 32x type texture pack. If texture packs ever even happen in the first place that is.

Why does it seem like Memory and space is what keeps minecraft going.
We can't make our maps bigger.
We can't handle simple updates.
Theres more i just can't think of them.

If HD texture packs slow down good PCs, then they'd slow down an Xbox 360.
Many games that release on both the Xbox 360 and PC have put the nails in the coffin on this issue. Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Mass Effect, etc, etc.
They have higher resolution textures on the PC for a reason.
Fine dammit, Have you thought that may be because that is many textures for an area and since mincraft is the same textures over & over that they would be easier to run.

I wouldn't think so. It could just take avantage of the HDMI cable though it sucks the X-Box only has 512MB of GDDR3 RAM.
