Yeah I built a volcanic island about the same size (if not slightly bigger) as that one in the video because I watched it awhile ago. It's actually kind of boring to build and the result isn't super satisfying. Go for it if you'd like

It may not be clear but I do enjoy Austim Powers. It was a nice suprise to get home from work and have Goldmember playing on Comedy Central yesterday. Sure, it's a little bad, but hey.
On topic: You could put netherrack in random placed spots around the volcano/near top to recreate the fire look.
Well now that creative will be out, I think we need to do some damn volcano's then. I know I will add in my survival world if I can manage all the resources.

Once we get creative mode it'll be much faster to recreate something like in the video. Possibly build one near an NPC village?
