Can we please have a map sharing feature? I know there are already threads about this but there all dead and I think this is something that should be really considered. I get really bored with my world sometimes and adventure maps make minecraft so much more fun.
You don't really need an amazing computer, Just a good one. As for the idea, it's been asked since the day this game came out and is still being brought up today. It's just like Tekkit and the "portal for infite worlds" idea
I don't think its as unrealistic as the others and my computer is an old mac, and when I try to download minecraft it says this architecture isn't supported.
And I have a minecraft name cause I downloaded it on my old computer and it played at like 3fps so yeah.

I can, at least, understand why they'd be so resistant to the portals idea. They'd have to really restructure the way that save data is handled for that to work. An amazing idea, nonetheless, but one that can be put on the back burner. With the potential for rented servers coming up...it would render the concept pretty useless. Or, rather, not as profitable when compared to a rented server providing a similar function. They could couple that concept into that one to encourage users to pay for a server, offering them long term financial support. Right now they are riding off of initial sales and small boosts from DLC. For something as wide in scope as Minecraft...solid financial footing is critical for maintaining a good lot of programmers and directors to keep things moving.
Thats just food for thought, though. I've nothing to back the bottom part of that claim up. Its the sort of thing I'd choose to do, under similar circumstances. Shared worlds are moot for nearly the same reason, there is no gain for having it when you can already "share" a world by inviting someone in. With rented servers, well...
Tekkit, on the other hand, is probably going to happen in a different form. DLC is a good tool, and DLC worthy of a higher price tag is certainly in their sights. With the popularity of Tekkit, Yogbox, and numerous others...you can lay solid money on the fact that much of that content will find a new form, and new home, on MC360.
Dude i have minecraft for the pc and a pc name but i cant run minecraft on my pc. my comp is worse than todays crappiest laptops. just cuz you can buy the pc version doesnt mean you can run it. thats why the 360 version is so popular. people who cant run it on pc have a way to play now.
Well not everyone has amazing computers.

Step 3: Share on Xbox!
Keep yourself up to date with the Minecraft Forum rules!
The only problem with that is, is it's against the rules.
