On my minecraft world (Seed:888) I found a surface dungeon and received a saddle, some cocoa beans, and some other junk. I used the furnace duplication glitch (break with pickaxe then shovel) to make some more cocoa beans. When I got the item that resets to 64 after reaching 0, it had no texture. After I made about 5 stacks of beans, I placed the unlimited item in the bottom right corner of the chest. When I moved the cursor, I saw the item DID have a texture..... A NETHER WART!!!!!

What could this possibly mean??? I'm afraid I cannot show you a picture because when I closed the chest and re-opened it it took the texture of cocoa beans. Please tell me if anyone else has encountered this!!!

The textures for every single item up to 1.2.3 are already in the game.

What happened to you is a very common thing when duping. It's a glitch being glitchy.

Interesting. So I guess the textures are all ready in the games files.

the same thing can be done with sponge and the infamous solid stone block

I've noticed that whenever I kill a mob or two (hostile or non) sometimes for a microsecond after its death, it flashes as if it were a pig mob.

I heard it happens most common when you dupe Ink Sacks. I've never tried because it sounds like something I'd not wanna do to my world. Feel free to try it if you want.
