Hello everybody. I have a problem when i play Minecraft for the xbox. I just recently just made a piston elevator but there is either lag or the pistons aren't working correctly because the pistons just push me off and not up I based my design off of this link It should work but for some reason it doesn't. PLease respond on what you think and why its not working or what i need to change. Oh and for you people who are mad at 4JStudios for taking forever its not there fault they are trying to make least amount of updates because after a certain amount of updates Microsoft forces them to pay for updates so there trying to help you get it for free so wait peeps.
Mostly the issues are with pistons. Redstone works fairly well, we just tend to get corrupted blocks A LOT more often than one does on MCPC. I think that is what they were referring to when they listed a fix for redstone tiles burning out in the changelog. I think the bug you're experiencing must have something to do with the flickering issue.
I just built a machine that utilizes 44 pistons, played with it for about half an hour and only had a couple very minor issues. The pistons flickered, as did the blocks they were pushing, and caused extreme lag. But, the tapes still ran perfectly normal 95% of the time.
Try this out: .. Much better design in my opinion. This is the design I used, and it works almost 100% of the time when playing by myself, sometimes it can be a bit dodgy with multiple people on the world.. Works great overall though!
