I'm going to live in a village most likely.

Yes, I am, for sure, going to make a new world. I'm very excited, I think the first thing I'm going to do is going to be making a creative map.

I'm not gonna delete my old world, i will keep it for good old memories.

I never delete old worlds that I've built something on. I have plenty of room for them on my hard drive, and with the new rename feature I'll be better able to name the maps to keep from getting confused.
I'm also holding out hope that 4J will eventually add in a type of portal that you can set to link to a portal built in one of your other maps to keep them from collecting dust and make them useful again!

I'd never delete my old worlds. I still play in all my playgrounds.

Will I delete my old world?

Will I start a new one?

I have to say, it was a rather shocking revelation that the new update will not apply to my old map. I've been toiling for about a week's worth in playtime (over the period of a month) developing a map, gathering resources, etc. in preperation for the new update. This kind of depresses me...

Nope, I will just take a lot of TNT to my old world and blow it up. I will probably keep it afterwards as a place for others to PVP or whatever.

Too much time and progress in the old maps to delete. Looking forward to a new map though.

I have a question regarding the topic of this title.

I know that at some point between the current 1.7 and 1.0 on the pc that the caves were expanded on extremely. Is that in the 1.8 update or was that in the 1.9 pre releases?

I would like to make my base inside of a cave so I hope it's the 1.8.

Well beyond the mineshafts and ravines I would think they are, at least from what i have seen on the pc in that version.

I plan on making a new world in survival whenever the update comes out, but I will also have a creative mode "copy" of the seed that I'll be using as a rough draft so to speak.

I'll probably keep my first world simply because I've only been working on it 2 weeks (new to the game), but keep it just in case any of my friends buy it and want to use it as a helper world for them.

No way. There is no need to delete worlds.

Actually, you know what I'll do, I'll use gargamel, explore 1/3, then when 1.8 comes out, explore another 1/3, then when 1.2.3 comes out, explore the final 1/3. It's gonna be a once-in-a-lifetime seed.

No. I am not going to delete something I have been working for at least 4 months. I will start a new one like everyone else though. I'm just hoping I don't get a entire snow biome.

I will leave my original world and then generate a new 1.8.2 one. I hope I get a jungle biome! Es mi favorito.
