I recently purchased Minecraft For the Xbox and AFTER I purchased the game, i made a new account. I tried playing Minecraft on the new account but it says "Buy full version of Minecraft" and just starts up the trial so does that mean in order for me to play on Minecraft on my new account I have to buy the game again?? Can anyone help me!?
xbox downloads have 2 licenses. One to the console it was 1st downloaded on (that's what license transfer is for when you RR an xbox, etc). The other license is to the user account that bought the game.
So, I have 2 xboxes. Anybody can play MC on the xbox I bought the game on because the console license covers them
Only I can play MC on the 2nd xbox because my user license covers me on any xbox.
So assuming the OP simply switched to a 2nd account (perhaps it was a sibling or SO) on the same xbox that the game was purchased, then the game should have worked.
If this is a 2nd account on a 2nd xbox, there's no license for it.
Unfortunately License Transfers aren't available between accounts, only between consoles using the same account.
OP: you should've just spent a bit of money to change you're GT
When you change your gamer tag you get to keep everything from the previous GT. BUT IF YOU CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT (from scratch) You have to do EVERYTHING all over again.... I don't think there is a way to avoid this when you start a new account.
