Will the golden apple be any different from it is now in the next update. For instance will it heal more or a different way like slowly regenerate your health in stead of just healing it all.

I think the golden apple's healing properties will get nerfed. WHY JEB, WHY!
This doesn't happen until a lot later. And when it does, we get a second golden apple crafted with blocks that retains the healing power of the old apple plus some other bonus effects.
