I mean, on e the update goes into testing, it would be dumb to work on the next update, because if 1.8.2 comes back for bug fixes it would mess up any work they put in already and they would have to code the fixes or new stuff twice. So what do they do? Obviously not answer fan questions as there twitter account has been quiet.
They are a company that has ported other games for the XBox and they may do other programming as a business, so my guess would be that they probably work on other projects...

What other projects though?
I doubt they have anything else to work on.

"DLC = update, the only difference is the semantics people come up with in their head."-Irony.
I like to imagine them playing a drinking game off-hours. Watch one of their youtube trailer vids and take a shot everytime someone complains about the update, chug a beer whenever someone says a false rumor-mill date for the update.
Then they have to stop 2 hours later before they get alcohol poisoning.

Because I believe people deserve to party just as hard as they work?
They have nothing to do, no share holder on earth would care what an employee does in their free time.
I don't he was referring to that. I'm pretty sure he was talking about how you said you doubted they have any other projects to work on. If you read the last paragraph on 4J's site, you'll see they work on games for various platforms. Since minecraft is only on xbox and pc, we can determine they work on other games. One example would be the game pertaining to the giant picture on that same page I provided.
If ya'll ever get into doing that, you should tweet a picture of the game in action!
Though probably keep it away from 4J channels, complainers might not like the developers making sport of them! Haha
I don't he was referring to that. I'm pretty sure he was walking about how you said you doubted they have any other projects to work on. If you read the last paragraph on 4J's site, you'll see they work on games for various platforms. Since minecraft is only on xbox and pc, we can determine they work on other games. Well that would be foolish if thats what he was referring to, because no project has been announced for 4j, so its safe to assume they have nothing else to work on.
Do you any of you actually believe they would have time to both work on Minecraft updates, and work on another game?
They aren't Rockstar games, they don't have several different departments with staff nearing, and surpassing triple digits.
hahaha, that game thats on the same page you provided? Its called oblivion, which they finished working on and released March 19th, 2007.

No, because shareholders often avoid investing in one-project companies which they might easily view as being on their way out of business. Of course, an "other project" I was referring to could just as easily be wooing other clients and negotiating new contracts to expand their business. I have nothing against partying either; but often entrepreneurs work much harder than many people expect to keep the work flowing year after year after year.

Keep yourself up to date with the Minecraft Forum rules!
Good thing you're not a shareholder then I guess.
OT: They have parties, ignore people's tweet's, and slack off. That's what I heard.
Fixed for realistic amount of complaints.

Retired StaffThey could get mojang in on the action and clear a whole liquor store out in a night if they drank every time someone complained.
