I did some searching and didn't pull anything up worth while. Does anyone know, or think they know if we are going to be able to get experience points on the Xbox version? Ive never really played Minecraft on PC but to me it looks like the RPG elements would be cool to have.

You did know in 1.8 your XP Never saved itself. It filled the bar and just reset. I don't know how you'd save that.

They don't want to keep us waiting that long. They rather save that for when we really need it. Its kind in their part.

Their original plan was to do 1.8.2 then 1.2.3. However, they are now thinking about doing a smaller update in between the two to get stuff out that people want. Whether or not that is going to happen remains to be seen.
