Having several problems with MCX. First, the game won't update for some reason. It's only a 3mb update but all that happens is the update bar fills up half way and then stays there. All other games update, not sure what's going on here. Since I can't update, I can't play online, etc.
Second is my current worlds are being very buggy. Half the mobs are like translucent pixelated shapes of themselves. Also, whenever I go into any chest, the game freezes. Wtf.
If anyone has any possible solutions, please let me know. All I can think of doing at this point is uninstalling and reinstalling.
You may have to contact Microsoft technical support on this one. Another option would be to delete your download of the game and try again. If everything is registered correctly with Microsoft XBox Live, you should not have to pay again for redownloading the game onto the same XBox as you did the first time. Just make sure you are signed into the same Liva account as you were when you first downloaded the game. After that, the game should automatically download all the updates that we've had so far.
You can try to clear your cache. If you go to your system settings and memory, there should be an option to "Clear Cache." If there isn't, select your device, then see if it's there.
You'll most likely need to update for every game, but I think it'd be worth it to fix minecraft.

I'm going to catch a lot of hate for asking this, but do you use the duplication glitch. I've heard of 2 other times where people had this same thing happen with mobs and it was after they had gotten done duplicating a very large amount of blocks.
(Anyone who is thinking about blowing up all over me because I'm pointing my finger at the dupe glitch, just don't even say anything. He may not have even used it. We all know it's a glitch and glitches can have bad side effects. Just because it doesn't happen often or to everyone doesn't mean it can't happen. Don't start arguments over it here)

OP already stated the game won't update. I've cleared my cache, played offline and saw the same thing, I'm sure you will too if you try it. As soon as I updated, everything was back to normal, I'm guessing this happens from having pistons in a 1.6 map. The question here, is why won't his update install?
