Mobs are amazing.....creeper=TNT, MUSIC! (and skulls)
Although they do scare the crap outta me when you here a sizzle and turn around and see the pearly gates and a button that says respawn. But, ya all good.
The hitboxes used to be even worse though, on the Xbox version I'd chew through iron armor in only a few nights because the monster hitboxes were that bad.
Well, armor also had less of an ability to withstand damage because that's how it was in a previous version of PC Minecraft, I think... Never really made armor anyways...
On topic: The slight lag that multiplayer often has makes it rediculous to fight certain mobs, often hitting you when you are clearly out of their range.
I hate that 1.8 seems to spawn monsters in my secure perimeter, despit it being lit by torches every 6 blocks (12 blocks is the normal "needed" lighting)
in 1.7, I could work on my island ranch all night in the open. Now, I've had 3 surprise attacks by monsters that spawned inside the well-let surface perimeter.

Yeah, armor is way overpowered these days. Enchanted armor more so. I fell in lava the other day and wondered why I hardly burned up. then I realised, I was wearing a single piece of Protection I enchanted armor...
And btw, I have never played anything but SSP in my life, the problems I experienced were purely hitbox related, nothing to do with latency.

Umm.... just a thought.... can we please just NOT hate on the people who say things we don't like? Perhaps he has a different opinion and a different way of saying things! Everyone has a right to post here (as long as they follow the rules).
I completely agree with you, but you don't need to be telling him that. You need to be talking to the guy he quoted.My cousin and I had just finished our awesome houses(3 stories of awesomeness) when we go into his house and bam! Three freaking creepers. Needless to say we had to do a little remodeling

When you build a friggin stadium to kill mobs in and you cant even make it inside without being attacked by slimes! And they dont go away everrrrr. Uhrg.
The only mob I hate are Creepers. I HATE how the are always blowing up my house, or destroying the landscape! Although, they are only fun when I get bored. Then, they are kind of fun.
