So I'm really excited about the upcoming update of course! Mostly for creative mode finally, but also for the new multiplayer options! With the new things like Host Options and trusting players it will make it much easier to keep it a griefer free, friendly PvP server!
My idea is that first in Creative Mode, build the spawn point so they start in bedrock so there's no chance of destroying it. Inside will have signs displaying the rules, as well as a secret sign saying a secret word. After they go through the spawn they come out a piston door which closes behind them. The entire outside is covered in bedrock to prevent any griefers :D. I may even have a special dispenser on the way to give them a few basic essential items that they can only get one of each.
So up to that point everything is perfect (as far as I know). The player will then send me a message with the secret password and I will then give him the right to build. But what if I don't want him to be able to destroy other players forts? What I'd like is just so they can build forts together or alone, and then travel the map in search of other players and kill them for their items. However, in my 2-3 years experience on the PC, these always end up in heaps of players losing their creations they spent days on!
I know you can say "Well tough luck it's PvP" but what if I want to make a creative server? If I give a player rights in a creative server, who's to say they wont just decide to start destroying everything without me knowing?
Can anyone help me? Any thoughts and criticism are greatly appreciated!

Anyway, it would be great if the host could somehow receive a message or be notified somehow whenever someone is destroying something. Or what would be awesome is the ability to set it so players can only destroy blocks they have placed! At least death messages will be useful.
