I love threads like this. Personally, I'd like to see some new tools/weapons added: Daggers, Spears, Shields, Obsidian Tools, Obsidian Armor (Lol this would be so overpowered.), Battle Axes (Basically a double sidded axe that's good for killing as well as chopping trees.) and perhaps even a New type of Bow.

I'd like to be surprised. The PC users get to be surprised by their new stuff each time an update comes out. If the XBox version continues to mostly follow the PC version, we'll never get that pleasure of not knowing ahead of time what an update is likely to involve. I'm looking foward to 4J putting in some stuff we'll not be able to even guess about before it happens. As for what they might pull from the PC, I think I'll leave it up to them what they might want to use to complement their own ideas.

I still expect many key features to come to the xbox like trading with villagers. I hope even if they go in a different direction with the xbox that they will add the good stuff from future PC updates.

I think they should just follow the PC.

I agree. This is pretty much how I feel, except I think players should be able to offer their input to 4J so that there's a chance we can get some stuff WE want. Not them or anyone else.

Well 4J did say they would take MC360 in their own direction. I want the Xbox Edition to be unique and not just a copy of the PC.

In my opinion I would like the:

- Updated Enchanting System (1-30)
- The Beacon Block/ New Sandstone Block.
- Emeralds/ Villager Trading
- New 1.3.1 Structures (Village,Temple, Pyramid)
- Fix TNT (So with flint and steel, you can punch it and it won't detonate)
- Nether-wart buff (Can be grown in both the Overworld and the Nether)
- Cocoa Beans spawn In wild
- New Gravel Texture/ Colored wood planks
- Ender Chest
- Creative: Instant Travel To Nether
- Infected Villagers
- Silver Fish spawn in caves.
- Potions of Night-vision and Potion of Invisibility


Others: (By the Community)
- New Mobs (Bats, Witches...)
- Stackables (Signs, Buckets...) #New!

Out of those I'd have to say all except the new gravel texture, since i can not stand that one. Makes it look like an iron steel works of some kind which is not what gravel is. I like the old texture, or well this current one. The rest of those i actually like to have.

What i mainly want is those Color planks according to wood, cocoa bean growth, villager trading, Sideways placing logs, as well something we may get anyway which is the upside down stuff. Also those extra sandstone stuff, as well the stairs and slab which i am unsure when we would get.

The ones listed i could live with out are:

-beacon block since i really don't know what it does exactly, and don't have that version of the pc game anyway.
-the TNT feature you mentioned.
-the creative mode thingy as well. (it will not be very often i would even use creative...)
-infected villagers, and villager zombie raids..

The above i don't mind if they go in, but i could live without if such would happen.

I prefer having as many ways i can place a block, within reason, as well having a selection that i can choose from. Mobs are ok for when i feel like playing with easy+ on, just wish they would make easy actually easy, since the mobs spawn just as many on any mode and creepers annoy me, and enderman will soon do the same when they come out...

4J have said that they have been reading the forums and are considering some of the ideas being put forth by users of the game. I expect that they'll continue to do that after they're finished with the 1.2.3 update and start to take the game in it's own direction. I also expect that they will be continuing to collaborate with Mojang and take ideas from them... and even perhaps share ideas with them. I think that is what their tweet is indicating when they say they need to sit down with Mojang and discuss it. If an idea is good, nomatter where it comes from, they both will probably be wanting to find ways to use it somewhere in their version of game. That's just the way business works. Still, I'm getting kind of tired of speculating about every little thing that may or may not get introduced into MCXBLA sometime in the future. The 1.2.3 update will probably be lucky to make it before Christmas... and isn't the world supposed to end on December 21st this year?... oh, sorry, different crystal ball... (just kidding).

Custom game modes like Death Craft, MineZ, and stuff like that.. Weren't they going to add Death Craft eventually?

After they add everything from 1.2.3. I want me some colored planks and upside down stairs, upside down levers, wooden buttons and tripwires.

All the Biomes.

If not all, at least Jungle.

Jungle came in 1.2. We're getting 1.2.3.

Safe bet we're getting it.

I really hope we get the End. And I would also love Beacons (Or something similar, that light pillar effect looks incredlbie) and wall hangable item display frames. Flower pots too. In general we need more decorative items, I think.

Well these are more on the side of mods. 4J did say there is a good chance that they will add mods in the future.

They're great for defense and for those who may want to make PVP or PVE arena. They also fit well in Adventure Maps.

The more the merrier. I feel like they should follow the pc, throwing in some exclusive content.
The pc will always have their updates + mods.
I think we should have the same updates, with slight exclusivity. Our exclusivities will most likely become mods for pc anyways.
Not saying xbox will become better..
