Alright, so I'm highly unable to work this forum. I can't find the search feature to look this up but I can't get my photos to post. I've uploaded them to facebook but they look like and X when I try to post them, I've even uploaded them to that website that pulls them from facebook.
Nothing works, I'd like to post my pictures since I made something that I rather like and want to share it.
Im not sure how to answer your question. However the search bar is at the very top. Its the little white bar that has a magnifying glass andthe word "Search" in it
Go to your photo on Facebook.
Right click on the image & click on "copy image URL".
In the reply bar, click on the little photo icon located underneath the emoticon.( )
Paste in the URL & hit ok.
Done & dusted.
Happy photo postings.
& the search bar is located to the right of the of the Minecraft forum logo.

Hm...no I think it's all set to Public. But even when I use the Minecraft xbox app thing to upload them they won't post in here. They're just red X's. >_<
Though I can apparently copy the picture and just paste that now..sooo I'll do that..
By the Xbox app thing, do you mean http://mcxphotos.com or the option in game to share the photo to facebook? If you haven't used that website yet it'll take the photos from your Facebook and allow you to post them without revealing your identity to the world.
It takes the program a bit to work, and I have no idea if it's compatible with a Mac or Linux (I'm using Win7 here.)
If the site does load up all of your pictures, which can take a few minutes, it'll add them all to your profile.
To view them just click your name in the top right hand corner of the page it takes you to after it's finished loading.
This should open up a page showing your galleries and latest photos.
Click the blue link saying View all Photos and you should see every minecraft picture you've uploaded to facebook.
From there all you need to do is open the photo you want to link to us, wait for it to fully load, which takes a second or two on my machine. and then right-click it
This will open up a drop menu that should say
Save image as. . .
Copy image URL
-and so on. . .
if it doesn't have the option to save image URL, but shows you a bunch of others then the page is still loading. Give it a second or so to finish then right click it.
select Copy image URL
Then return to the post you want to add the image to and right click the text box you're typing into.
From this menu select paste (or if you wanna feel really l33t, hit the Ctrl key and V at the same time to paste it!)
In order to make it appear as an image and not a link add [ IMG] to the front of the pasted text (Minus that space between the bracket and the I) and [ /IMG] to the back of it (Again, minus the space after the bracket and before the /. I had to add the space to keep the code from thinking that part of the sentence was an image! lol). this code tells the forums that you are posting an image now and not just some link. when you hit post you should see the image like so
I'mma Firn' Mah Layzah!!
I kinda assumed that you hadn't used the website. if this isn't the case could you walk us through what you're trying to do step-by-step sorta like how i wrote my instructions? That way we get a better idea about what's going on. Being as descriptive as possible helps too!
Also, please forgive me if i came off sounding a bit condescending. I work in retail, so i'm just used to trying to help people who don't know the first thing about computers use one. I've found that what seems obvious to most of us is often what trips up most newcomers to computing, so i try to explain everything to the Nth degree!
