How to make an Conveyor (Edited)

This is what it looks likes:

Step 1 :

Put a pressure plate on the ground.

Step 2:

Put a redstone repeater and a block facing away from the pressure plate.

Step 3:

Put a sticky piston on the block and then a block on the piston

Step 4:

Repeat Steps 1-3 on the left.

Step 5:

Repeat steps 1-4 and Voila! An escalator!

Um, could you show it being used? It doesn't look like that design will work like an actual escalator... which goes diagonally up...

Step on the first pressure plate. It should then work by itself.

Example: PP= Pressure Plate

Its a conveyor guys. If you havent seen one just look on yourtube for piston conveyors. And Zsaas and escalator goes up diagonally??

Ahh, now that the images are showing, I recognize this. Why didn't you just post the video? He shows that one as well as a newer design that is instant. No offense to your recreation, videos are just easier to follow.
