Snowy Mountains: This biome would be a very harsh terrain. It would snow alot more than other snow biomies and It's overall height would be higher than all the other biomies. It would contain lots of large hills and mountains that are even taller in height than the ones in the extreme hills biome. The few spots that are low will consist of large frozen lakes. Structures in this biome are mainly built of snow, making them hard to find. Igloo: Igloos are normally built on the edge of frozen lakes. Inside, there are 1-2 beds and a chest containing flint & steel, stone swords and and iron ingots.

There is a mod on the PC called ExtraBiomesXL. It's one of the best mods on the PC and features some amazing biomes. I would love a few of the biomes the mod has in the Xbox 360 Edition.

If 4J ever decides to add some of their own biomes (I highly doubt it will ever happen) I hope they add things along the lines of those types.
Candy biome. With candy cane tree trunks, cotton candy leaves, licorice grass, rivers of chocolate, and gravel that is made of jawbreakers! And it always rains Skittles. <3
More like, you have a chance to find skittles in the lollipop castle chests, and when you plant them near chocolate rivers, a rainbow grows, and drops loads of skittles when broken.
Volcanic biome. The ground is charred dirt and stone, you never see the sun, the sky is cloudy and dusty and depressing, no passive mobs live in it, hostile mobs can spawn anywhere and at anytime in it, in the center is a large volcano, with lava spewing out. Lava machanics would need to be reworked, so that lava spreads further and faster and will consume blocks like dirt or wood. When it erupts, lava source blocks go out in a 50 block radius. But in the center there needs to be a rare item or ore only found in volcanic biomes. The underground is a massive lava lake, with few solid ledges.

Woah, I just looked at that mod in the mod section at It's pretty nice. Although most of them look fairly similar and unrealistic due to the trees. Also, I don't think this thread was created to ask 4J to add new biomes. It is simply a place for players to post their ideas.
What about a Mediterranean or Scrubs biome, with hills and not-so closed in forests with tall grass EVERYWHERE. The grass would have a yellowish hue and cover every dirt block available (Unless there is a tree there). There would be new trees and mobs such as, Sictus trees and Cork oaks . The mobs could be ancient greek myth related like Tree nymphs who disguise themselves as trees, Centaurs or Chimera. The Villagers would be textured to match the ancient greeks. Fires would occur more naturally .

-Slenderman's Woods: A normal forest but it is always nighttime and Slenderman can spawn.
-City: A biome filled with giant skyscrapers.
-Sewers: Spawns underground, mainly near Cities.
-TNT Biome: (:<
-Lava Biome: Water is replaced with lava and dirt, stone etc. is replaced with netherrack.
-Youtube Biome: Random white and red wool spawn across the biome and random commentators like Captainsparklez, Uberhaxornova etc.

Cave Biome: Dirt is replaced with stone and any ore can spawn in it.
Empty Biome: A giant hole that drop's to the void.
Sky Biome: A random biome in the sky.
Alpha Biome: A biome that look's like Alpha Minecraft

That actually was a biome in Minecraft until they redesigned the entire thing and made it into The End.
