First thing I want to do is start a survival world with some friends of mine. Really excited to explore the new terrains Will mainly focus on gathering food and building shelters for everyone. I'm also good at stocking up. Planning on finally make my own RPG world. Will be fun with the new update
My friend and I are thinking about remaking the roman colissium (srry if i spelld tht wrong) and probably finding a stronghold and building a city in there
I have a project that i've been planning for quite some time now::
Twin towers (a little like the twin towers of malaysia), one small, the other very tall, on a 2 floor perfect stone circle. With a garden on the base. And a swimming pool on the top of one tower.
It dosen't sound much in text, especially with my [profanity="shit"]ty English lol But it's gonna be just AWESOME.
I'm a bit torn. I've got a giant city I've been building that I'm going to love using creative to work on, but at the same time I really wanna see the new terrain types and generated structures. First thing I'll do is probably Seed surf until i find one to start my new survival world on. I'll be looking for a village that i can expand and fortify for when by friends come online and join in.
After that I'll get to doing touch up work on my city's megabuilds, A full sized football stadium that needs a nicer facing, a Spleef Arena, our hospital, a Skyscraper that touches the height limit and a roller coaster that's construction has now claimed enough lives to be considered cursed!. Then I'll put in all of those obsidian roads that I've been putting off. I won't get much else done that. . . week.
Even with creative mode i doubt I'll have the city done until probably early to mid next year, then we're saving a copy and renaming it and taking the original and using TNT to give it a post apocalyptic look and removing all the light sources to make it into a zombie survival city for when we host multiplayer survival games! Can't wait to finish the project and start playing survival mode there!
Our test runs have proven that the hospital and Skyscraper are the most dangerous buildings to explore after you remove their lights! We've begun calling them Creeper Tower and the Hospital of Horrors. Thinking about using lines of redstone dust to give it a zombie horror movie look, like someone was killed and drug down the hall. Still toying with that idea!
I'm gonna make a basic shelter for nights, work on gathering wood and replanting saplings starting my tree farm. Make Charcoal, start a wheat farm, try to cage up some animals. I might not mine much for a while other than getting cobblestone for tools and weapons.I'm thinking about building a house at the top of a mountain and add floors inside the mountain. We'll see what I have to work with. Then is off to explore and see what my world has for me!

Honestly the first thing will still be a house closely followed by a wheat farm since the hunger system is now in the game and I do plan on playing in survival then when I get established and have reliable food I will wanna look for melon and pumpkin and start making farm for them individually. Then probably animal farms to prepare for breeding in 1.2.
