What is everyone planning to build first in their new 1.8.2 World? (Obviously after you have survived the first night and gathered some resources etc).

Do you have a plan before you start building?

Not sure if I should theme my village/city and plan it properly this time, rather than just making it up as I go along. I would quite like to plan it, but not sure how to start :-/ any tips?

Too be honest. I will be be playing more on my original world first. As soon as I am finished with it using creative, then I would start a new world and hope to get a good start with my friends on Easy.

Im going to build an adventure world for my friends, full of traps and beauty and secrets...then a modern city, full of zombies, and of course im going to jump in asa miner from scratch on survival

I'm gonna do some type of abandoned town, have a little city, and have the rest of the map be houses and woods that were also abandoned, with some eerie paths. Could be cool for some type of PVP thing as well.

Just something i've never done before.

First thing is a farm. I also play PC, and trust me, with the hunger bar you need a working farm. Like, immediately.

On Hard mode, you can starve to death. First thing to do is find food (cows, pigs, chickens); second is plant a lot of wheat.

Well I will build the regular stuff like house and farm first, but then I want to build a jail with the iron bars.

I'm going to stick with my 1.7 world.

i kinda dont want to play on my current world no more i want the update to come already. i want to make YouTube videos but not sure if people would be interested. im not some 10 year old kid with a justin bieber voice either

ill be building a 4 by 6 box to sleep in @ night then slay any mobs at day time i see

Good shout ..... I will certainly be making a small one at my first make-shift house to tide me over.

Do you ever theme your cities? (ie Modern, Medieval, Roman etc)

Go in creative and check out every little feature in the update. Then I can go and do other stuff. The day tis update comes out, i'll be no lifing it all day long.

Enderman Arena is gonna be some good entertainment
