I see a lot of people wanting Tekkit. You probably have seen these threads
before as well. In fact, you may be one of those people that likes the idea
of adding a Tekkit DLC into Xbox. That's okay, but just think....
Do you really want Tekkit?
Tekkit has many fun features, but the mod is unbelievably complex.
Sure, you like some of the features in the mod. You probably watch Yogscast
play it don't you? Sure, they have fun, build stuff, but chances are you only
understand half of what they're actually doing.
Ok, now some ideas from Tekkit that would be fun?
-Rings that you can wear to make you fly
-Pipes
-New ores
-More equipment (I believe there's a bunch of different tool/ weapon resources, I think
I saw the yogscast use green and dark blue weapons?)
-Macerator
-Various others....
But seriously, before you say you want Tekkit very badly, just remember,
even if we did, it's not going to be exactly like yogscast, and Minecraft will
be a much more complicated type of game.
Could care less honestly, thats Minecraft/Microsofts desicion wheather or not we get it. But i guess if enough people complian maybe it will happen. Who knows. My only problem is that would take up alot of space just sayin.
Can the Xbox even handle Tekkit and other big mods? It can't even handle infinite maps. How do you think it's possible it can handle Tekkit?

Why would you post a thread saying that people don’t understand how complex Tekkit is? That’s like if a young child said he wanted to ride a roller coaster and you tell him, “Son, you have no idea how scary it is. You aren’t ready for that level of thrill, and you don’t really want to ride it.”
Seriously? I’ll bet that most of the people who want Tekkit want it for a reason: they have played, love it, and want it in game. Just because some of the stuff might be over some people’s heads, doesn’t mean they don’t know what they want.

The only reason Tekkit became popular was because of Yogscast. Without them, this thread wouldn't be here.

I quite agree, but that has nothing to do with this guy saying that people don’t know what they want and don’t know what they are getting in to.
Right. People think Tekiit is so great, but people never pay attention to Twitter ( 4J said they weren't going to use PC mods ) and the Xbox probably wouldn't be able to handle it.

Then play the PC version then.You know what, 4J shouldn't add mods AT ALL. All they are going to do is make your Xbox slower and probably even break your Xbox.

He is right tekkit will not make it to xbox but I love it and would not care if it came.I think it would scare away some noobs to the game and do not no what POCKZ means when he says that people don't wan't it.
