Alright, Today I helped one of my friends build a ship, because he asked me too. I've never been one that has been good at building ships, I don't know why but they have never been my strong point in building. Tonight however, looking at my old ship that was there made me just want to rid it and make a new one. I've been meaning to do it for a while, I just never got around to it. So I did it, keep in mine this is a massive change in size. Here is what my old ship looked like.
As you can see, it was a very small badly made poopy boat. This is why I wanted to change it so much. Here is what I just came out with after months of gathering wool/wood and just materials in general. Here is what I came out with:
Seeing this get finished just put a massive smile on my face. I think it may be one of the best builds I have ever done. Seeing as 1.8 is about 2 weeks away, I needed to get at least one more mega build done in 1.7. Hope you guys liked this, I am still smiling at this moment. I really want to see some feedback on this. because I love this.
That's quite the upgrade. I had a giant ship planned, but now that building on other areas has progressed, my space is going to limit to small ships at a dock.
Just wondering if ya based this off a tutorial or not, I have a smaller one that the sails are almost exactly the same that i used a tut for. (Madness64 tutorial for mine) (Not trying take anything from your work was just wondering) Its looks pretty friggin awesome tho
The sails wouldnt be facing that way and by the looks of the near by land they woulnt be using the sails at all to get to sea from there. But thats y tying to be super realistic dont mind me!
Thanks for all the compliments guys. I didn't base it off a tutorial. I did look at a few reference pictures on google cause I was quite bad at making the sails. Thanks everyone

This thing is about 32x15x65 It's pretty big
