Gonna build a replica 2fort map from team fortress 2 in creative mode . Built one in fortress craft but its useless since I never play that game anyways.
I am going to load a bunch of different seeds and explore them to see the differences and then chose two of them one for creative mode and survival. Once this is all done I am going to let my imagination go crazy.
I'm definitely starting a new world. I'm going to have different types of farms seeing as how food is a lot more important and animals don't de-spawn. I'm also going to try and find some mineshafts, strongholds, and villages too!
I am going to not visit the forums/twitter/internet for a few weeks so as I don't hear all the 'Y IS THER NO XP BAR :C :C :C' or '4J U SUK!!! Wen is 1.2.3?!' stuff...
I guess I'll buck the trend here in that I will be taking my Xbox offline whenever I play Minecraft and won't allow it to update. I have it on PC now, which has all the new features, so I want to keep my Xbox on 1.7.3, mainly so I can still have the old terrain to play with. It isn't as sophisticated as the new terrain but generates in a completely different way. I also don't fancy having the biomes ruined on my current world, and in many ways I sometimes enjoy coming back to the older version for the simplicity.
Before I got it on PC I was readying myself for starting a new world and upgrading like everyone else. I was disappointed though that we were practically promised enchanting and then the idea was quietly dropped without so much as a word.
Interesting approach; but why not just start some new worlds before the update and explore every chunk in them so the physical terrain doesn't change with the update? The climate might change a bit and you'll have enderman and a few additional building blocks; but not much else should be different.
I'm going to finally go to my "main" world again and see what comes of the new land. At some point, me and a friend or two of mine will start up a new world to build up, and I may make a new solo world. Also, animal fishing.

I actually stopped playing on the PC after 1.8 or 1.9 I forget, they never added that enchanting thing? I remember reading so much about it, and decided I'd start playing again after it came out. Which is probably why I never came back to the PC version.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"DLC = update, the only difference is the semantics people come up with in their head."-Irony.
I honestly don't know though. There is so many possibilities.
I'm going to fly in survival anyway, so yeah, still yesterday.
Right, they get a new toy and still complain lol

Start up a bunch of new worlds and explore them til I find one I like. Build a huge farm, then switch off of creative and explore some more.
Then I'll create a Walking Dead themed Creative world and turn it into a pvp game... after that not sure just go with the flow i suppose.
