Not sure why these questions keep popping up when no one could possibly know the answers.
I'll join in though, I'll admit it is fun to speculate and see what others think will be coming in MCXBLA's future.
An increased player limit could happen, but I don't see it implemented unless they add dedicated servers or rentable servers. Every 8-man game I've been in has been at least laggy enough to be a nuisance. And, in some cases, it's been so bad the game was unplayable and not worth the effort.
I've never had an issue with 8 other players in my world, or in any other world. Only lag issue I notice is when someone drops down a bucket of lava down the side of their mountain where their house is, then it becomes a huge lag. Other than that, pay for your internet or get better internet.

While it is a solution, it is not a very smart one.. Not everyone can simply fork out the bread to "get better Internet". Nor may they be in a suitable location to "get better Internet". Rentable dedicated servers would solve the better half of this issue.

Again, sarcasm, but it's ok.
I don't have the greatest internet either. Actually AT&T sucks in my area, and so is their cheap routers. My NAT is either moderate or Strict and I have talked to the tech and even before talking to them, I had tried to open the port my self, but the modem just wouldn't allow it. The tech wasn't of no use either. I still have issues on both my Xbox and PS3 and they said there isn't anything that they can do. There is, but they just don't want to.
Dedi servers are ok I guess. But I wouldn't want to rent them. I'd rather run my own server for local parties, and not have them open to griefers or other public issues. I've played on the BF3 servers and some of them are down right stupid on how things are handled with them. Even on dedi. servers I and a few other friends have issues of lag. Actually I think the MW2/3 servers are much better than the BF3 servers. But that's just me. Plus on dedi. servers you have to worry about crashes, and overloads.
i saw something on the gaming lemons Chanel i think 4j is thinking about making servers people can rent that are always on im not to sure though so check his you tube and look for it
im not sure though

Hahaha What did you expect? It's EA! I've never had any problems with the servers on BF3, provided I stay within my region. But yeah, for minecraft, I wouldn't want to rent servers either, but It's an option.

I think EA is as worse as M$. I didn't realise buying a used game you had to shell out an extra 10 dollars to play online, I mean we already have to pay to play... Since I didn't realise this, the clerk at Game stop gave me a possible working code, and it worked. haha. He was nice.
I love playing for free on the PS3, I just buy the games and don't have to worry about a yearly subscription.
But I bought the xbox due to more of my friends having it. So I broke under peer pressure and got it around tax time. Thus now I can cater to my PS3 and Xbox friends without feeling left out. haha.
Trust me when I say it isn't just people internet that is making lag. A friend of mine has fiber optic internet, which is ridiculous internet, and playing online lags for him once in a while as well.
People have to understand that as it stands right now, Minecraft has the Xbox 360 at its limits. Until that is solved, if it ever can be, don't expect anything more in the multiplayer department.
