I've been wondering if 4J was going to add mushroom biomes since they're supposed to be placed way the hell out in the middle of a giant ocean and 1Kx1K maps dont exactly allow for that (I also haven't seen anything up to this point from 4j confirming mushroom biomes), but it wouldn't make sense for them to put a pic of a mob in the pack thats not going to be in this game, right?
Just getting my hopes up, but if they dont tweak the biome's generation then its gonna be pretty rare to find a map that has one on it and if it does have one on it then a huge chunk of the map is going to be straight water. I've seen several mushroom islands on pc that were in the middle of oceans which were well over 2 thousand blocks.

Its a bit odd though for 4j to release all those gamer pics now when a lot of the content isn't going to be in the game any time soon. Surly it would make more sense to them release with the appropriate patch that adds that content.

I do look forward to when they are released, but 4J still has a lot of work to do to get there, and selling these Skin packs helps generate the revenue to get there quicker. I don't think there is any symbolism in the skin packs, or any of the other odd source that other minecraft conspiracy theorists like to site. They're just a way to get some extra income to help offset the cost of developing an ever evolving game. Naturally when they run out of things already in the game currently to turn into skins they'll look to upcoming features for inspiration no matter how far down the line that thing is. So don't read too much into them, but i'd still suggest buying them to help fund the new patches.
I just wish they'd add remaining biomes, if they are forcing us to restart our worlds at least make sure it wont have to happen again with future patches.
Yeah, that'd be nice, but man think of the workloads! if we hated waiting for 1.8.2 then I can't imagine having to wait for all the patches to get done all at once! It'd be next Christmas and we'd still be hearing about 1.9 still in the works! Also imagine the quack theories that'd spring up about the release date!

Look in this preview video of a mooshroom we have 1 animal with 5 mushrooms on his back! again 1-5! and in this screenshot he only has 1 arm showing and 4 pieces of dirt on his hotbar! Who only carries around 4 pieces of dirt? Not someone building something, but someone sending a message!'

I didn't mean in this next update specifically, but i see how you guys could've thought that. My bad, probably should've mentioned something more specific about when they'll be added. I was talking about them being added at all, regardless of which update, because of how rare they are and how little space we have for them to spawn.

It is going to be in the game though, just not in 1.8.2. It'll be in the game by 1.2.3.

Kind of reminds me of the "rapture" a couple years ago. I still can't believe so many people wasted their time on studying and research to predict that.
exactly, he's part of the game without actually being an entity in the game, herobrine is irrelevant anyway. mooshrooms are an entity in the game, and it'll be hard to fit them in without having to load map after map after map AND not have it take up half your entire world to make it secluded like it's supposed to be unless 4j tweaks something.

He's not in either game, he's like a nonexistent part of minecraft and has been included in mcx360 just as much as he was in pc.
