So when i go to sleep. I get attacked by zombies and what not. And when i check the other rooms
theres skeletons and zombies in there as well...i think my home is fine...
This the outside
Was this an excuse to post your house on the forums? Just kidding.
Anyways where do you sleep? It helps to sleep on the top floor. And I
see that you only have one door, and the usual cause of this kind of
problem is players using double doors.
All I can recommend is that you light up the place more and search
for holes/ flaws in your house.
Looks alright to me, just go around with f3 on and check the light levels. Anything below 8 is spawnzone, but the only floor that looks a bit to dark is the second.
Also i noticed my pictures look pretty dark. I don't know why that is but my gamma is maxed.
I hope the screen shot doesn't confuse people on the real lighting

This is the xbox section Alterna
The first floor looks a little dark, chuck some torches everywhere to see if it rectifies the problem.

Maybe it would be a good time to say i live next to a monster spawner... but its closed up.
In the photo of the second floor, I don't see any torches in the photo at all. If lighting is the issue, then it's most likely to be on that floor. Torches emit a light level of 14 and that decreases by 1 level for every block you go away from the torch. Hostile mobs can spawn on any block that is not illuminated by at least a level 7, so any block 8 or more blocks away from a torch in a straight line may spawn a hostile mob. Keep in mind that you also have to consider the vertical distance and/or diagonals when calculating how far apart to place your torches. That is, the level of light on the block even directly below a torch on the wall will not be 14, and will decrease by 1 for each block the torch is placed higher on the wall.
i hate how screenshots always make the picture seem darker than it really is.
also, the interior of your house is AWESOME.
Thanks
Btw its looking good now.
Thanks for the tips.
Only thing wrong now and spiders falling on my head soon as i walk out my house, But im gonna take a guess and say thats normal in minecraft

Throwing some torches up on your roof can stop that... or, put up some trap door awnings above your door and just look up through them before you walk outside. If you see legs, get the sword out and collect some easy string.

Good use.
Got 2 grinders.
So i come acrossed string often.
Once again thanks for posting.
There's an easy way to single out which floor it is. Just start with the bottom floor, and put a torch on every available floor space. Sleep. If no monsters spawn, then you know it was that floor you can remove the floor torches and light just that level better. If you still have problems, torch the second, sleep, then third floor.
